Um... no Colpy, I don't think so. With all due respect, and I generally do respect what you post even when I don't agree with it (you're obviously a thoughtful intelligent person), I think you're spinning this one to suit your prejudices. A man who can be accurately described by "That one's playing dead" is lying still on the floor. If they didn't know he was unarmed, then obviously his hands were not in a position that made it obvious, and if that's the case, he couldn't have moved a weapon into position quickly enough to be a threat to an alert, well-armed soldier. Therefore it was not necessary to shoot him.

What Dear Neil forgot to mention was that the soldiers had just been in a fight, and that all the people in the mosque were militants (or had been warned to leave, or be treated as hostiles), that the soldiers did not know the man was unarmed...It is leftist propaganda, pure and simple
