So this is Germanys Jan 6th how? 3000 police arrested 25 people before anything happened….but I’m sure there’s a correlation. I’ll admit I’ve only skimmed a couple of new stories, while trying to make supper, so I’m seriously under informed….but I’m not seeing the correlation yet.

It was similar in that extremists on the right wanted to over throw the government and put in their own person.

Only in this case for Germany, it's some only slightly Royally connected dude.

But there were similarities to Jan 6th in it including some speculation of Qanon influences.

Overall these people think that Germany's government isn't real, and that it's all a fake from the Allies and it's been like that since the end of WWII.

Meanwhile the real armed attempts at insurrection in Portland and Seattle by the ALT-left are branded as "mostly peaceful protests".

Your whataboutism is funny.

Look, I get you absolutely deny Jan 6 was anything serious. Fine. I get you think everyone not you thinks Portland and Seattle was 'mostly peaceful protests'. (despite there being comments to the contrary). Hint, Jin, we're not talking fucking Portland or Seattle. Or BLM protests/riots.

You don't think that 25 plus people in Germany who want to bring back Nazi/Third Reich ideals isn't worth worrying even a little about?

That their views are on the rise in Europe and just how dangerous that is?

Or do you not believe what's reported? They were just 'misunderstood' or they were 'innocent' or it was all 'fake news'?

That's not actually what whataboutism means.

Whataboutism is where you try to excuse a bad behavior or event by pointing to a completely unrelated thing entirely and suggest that because something ELSE is bad elsewhere then this should be excused.

That is ENTIRELY different than comparing two similar things. You claim one riot which involved attacking the authority of a nation is an attempted insurrection while claiming that another riot which did the exact same thing on an even larger scale is not.

That's not whataboutism - that's pointing out your hypocrisy. You cannot make the claim of one while denying the claim of the other and as the left HAS denied that claim they can't now apply it to Jan 6. And you seem to be in the same boat - so sorry, your hypocrisy does not equate to 'whataboutism'. Swing and a miss sparky.

Yeah I think your reading a little too much into this it is starting to read like you said Germany's Jan. 6

A set up of mainly retirees to change the focus on terrorism in the country

Missed the question mark at the end of that, didn't you?

Though I get it, you think Jan 6th was fake so you wouldn't get how similar that and an *overthrowing* of another government by extremists is similar.

.... what? WTF are you talking about?

Not fake, but not half of what the lefties are making it out to be. It was a protest and a few got out of hand. One question.....
Who in their right mind would go and try to overthrow a government unarmed? It's just silly.
