BTW - you again missed my point. RIGHT WING/Ultra Orthodox beliefs on gay culture fit more with the right wing/extremist religious views than with the rest of the world. Israel is not the best country when it still has conversion therapy as a 'solution' for it's gay people. When it has people preach that being gay is wrong. It's only better because it doesn't kill people for being gay. But inflicting emotional trauma isn't any better, IMO, cause it can lead to suicide, which is death, just slower.

Death is still death. In Israel, the far right has more increased chances to make negative changes than positive ones since it's becoming popular, thanks to Bibi.

RIGHT WING Jewish beliefs are just like extreme religious views in Islam and Christianity.

In the end, Israel is just a f-ed up country like every other one. The sad thing is, it's also becoming much like the very people who nearly wiped them out.

Interesting to note that running in a democratic election is trying to bring someone else down.

I would fully expect the 2020 election to have this flavor.

I'm thinking the writer meant that Israel is the "best country in the middle east" in which to live and he'd be absolutely correct. Best country "in the world" however, may not necessarily be so IMHO

Israel isn't the 'best country in the middle east'.


There are no real good countries there.
