how alarmist of you! Can you cite any legitimate studies/analysis to support your alarmist take on YOUR non-described factors/policies that you're presuming on... to "destroy the economy"?
We gotta put the brakes on all this immigration if you want to see a significant change in GHGs.

In this particular case, Mansbridge came ready with a couple of prior Harper quotes... my gawd, Steve's a believer!!! (of course, not really)

I want to remind you of a couple of your quotes because I want to see whether you still believe this fundamentally that you, Stephen Harper, believe this. “Climate change is perhaps the biggest threat to confront the future of humanity today.” Do you believe that?
Harper A: I think it’s a significant threat. Geez, where does it rank in terms of our economic challenges, in terms of the Jihadism that we now face globally. It’s still a big threat.
Mansbridge Q: But not necessarily the biggest threat.
Harper A: I don’t know about that. I mean since then we’ve had the global recession and we’ve had the rise, you know, the kind of second phase rise of the, of the global terrorist movement so I would put those up there as well.

Well I agree with Steve on this one . I personally have much more concern of a world at war than an of an unproven theory .
And a crash of the world economy would be far more devastating to people than a rise of 1 or 2 degrees .
But keep on railing on about global warming climate change or whatever it is called now , it makes you appear oh so intelligent .
You do not even understand that i am not a Harper lover. I do however, resist shameless attempts to push an agenda.

let's recap: you speak of "an unproven theory"... you, in an alarmist manner, posit your interpretation/understanding of some kind of a trade-off between a world economic "crash" and acting to mitigate warming (apparently on what ever level you can imagine or prescribe)... you belittle someone for speaking about GW/AGW/CC (your "railing on" sentiment)... you fail to have even the minimum understanding to qualify the distinction between GW/AGW/CC... and you denigrate with your "appearing oh so intelligent" summary attachment. And then, to top all that off, you qualify "your science" in terms of fossil-fuels. As you say, you "appear oh so intelligent"! Ya think?
care to quote what I said that you interpret as "alarmist". It wasn't me that referred to a world economy crash... that was the other guy... that was the other guy being the alarmist! How did you miss that? :mrgreen:
