Beer is supposed to be drunk warm. Nobody had fridges when it was invented.

Wouldn't a wise person drink it whichever way he/she enjoys it? In my red wine drinking days I don't know how many people felt they had to comment on my practice of chilling the wine! Oh but they were such f**king connoseurs! :) :)

Me and my mate Stuart when we're round at his place in Darwen or when he's round at mine in Bolton just get a box of 20 cans of Fosters or Carling in - each - and we just take it turns to nip into the kitchen every so often and take a couple of cans out for us, take them back into the living room, hand one over to the other person, and then almost simultaneously crack them open before we continue in our manly discourse.

The only time we have cold beer is either when we're in the pub where some beers tend to be coldish, or when it's a sweltering summer's day when I'm round his place in Darwen, in which case we usually whazz a few cans into the freezer and make sort of canned beer slushies.

The problem with having beer cold is that it loses its taste. Most Canadians, and Americans, are drinking tasteless, cold beer.

Prestige matters far more than numbers when it comes to language. To take British India as an example, Hindi far outnumbered English, but English was the official language of government administration and consequently of upward mobility, and consequently of prestige.

As a result, anyone who could had their child learn English.

We find similar in aviation. Many states recognize English and not French as a language of aeronautical radio communication. As a result, anyone who dreams of becoming a pilot must learn English.

Chinese probably surpass English and definitely French in Burnaby, yet French and English are still the languages of Federal offices there due to their official status.

So yes, the importance of a language us determined first by its prestige status, which is determined by its official constitutional or legal status, which is in turn influenced by ethnic politics.

There, FIFY

Stuart has had plenty of intercourse with males. He's bisexual. So that sort of stuff doesn't bother him. It just makes me feel queasy just thinking about it, though.

In fact, I can just imagine him buttfu*king some bloke he met in a pub with a fag (a cigarette) in his mouth and a can of lager in one hand.
