White people? Do you have any clue how Hindus and Buddhists feel about Muzzies?

Take 10 minutes out out your useless life and learn about how and why The Islamic Republic of Pakistan was created in 1947

Don't confuse Islamism with Islam.

I would not be surprised if even some Muslims, while supporting the Motion in principle, oppose the redundant singling out of Islamophobia as distinct from other religious prejudice.

What does the Republic of Pakistan have to do with the Qur'an?

Actually, there was a demonstration in Ontario (can't remember where) where there was a group of over 700 Canadians from varying countries who were protesting against the Motion. When interviewed, they said that should this Motion pass, it could be the first step towards having a blasphemy law which they are completely against because that was one of the many reasons they came to Canada to begin with - for the freedom to express themselves openly, so Mentalfloss is completely out of touch - its not only "white" people who are against this motion and what it stands for; it's also "brown" people. May I add they were also a bit concerned as to why the MSM didn't cover their demonstration.

Good rally.

Never would've happened without the term islamophobia.

Anti-Islamophobia rally draws hundreds to Winnipeg City Hall | CTV News Winnipeg

“The community is supportive. We’re drawing a line in the sand and saying, any alt-right groups, any white supremacists, any neo-Nazis that want to show up in Winnipeg, this is what they have to deal with, ‘cause ‘Peg City don’t play.”

WOW - they're allowed to make big assumptions about people who would prefer existing laws be enforced because that's racist? Seriously? Too funny!

Even in its present poorly-worded state, I don't see how this motion can lead to the Islamization of Canada. I oppose it just out of principle. The greater risk in my opinion is simply that it legitimizes singling out groups. We have it already in our language and separate-school laws, laws imposing Christian statutory holidays, etc. We don't need more of that. But again, I don't see how this motion could lead to islamization.

Just one example of opposing how I oppose the wording of this law for very different reasons than others do. It sounds like those at the rally, whatever their skin colour, might have been Islamophobes.

Though I condemn islamophobia, I condemn all religious prejudice equally.

Thank you for the support of my claim you are stupid.

What is unique about Winnipeg compared to the rest of Western Canada?

Come on genius...the clock is ticking.

Google isn't filling you in?

Tick tock cuck. Tick tock.

We already have Anti Semitism laws in Canada.

Should Christians start demanding exceptions too?

So perhaps it's time to repeal the antisemitism laws and just replace them with laws against discrimination on the basis of religion. Done.

And no, Christians should not be demanding exceptions either. Christian statutory holidays and separate public schools ought to go too.

I can live with Christian symbolism (like on flags for example) or even teaching religious writings as literature in public schools. But again, I'd oppose singling a single religion out in legislation. This is all because I'm a White supremacist.

The fact that you want to remove the term antisemitism proves my point.
