On the other hand, it's voluntary. As you so clearly demonstrate.

There are some amazing GOP candidates. Many promise to have a budget surplus while massively increasing the military. Like they say on the PGA 'these guys are good'.

It's the old formula. Cut taxes, increase spending on the military and "security," and maintain social spending, and balance the budget!

Maybe we need to elect an accountant. Or at least somebody who can add and subtract on a grade 6 level.

I'm not sure why all the interest in the U.S. election this side of the border 15 months before it even happens. Is there anything more boring than have to persevere a match between Trump and Hillary?

I like the part where the same people who can't shut up about it are the same ones who piss and moan about non-Canadians posting on this board.

But JLM, The Donald is soo much fun to watch. You just never know what non sequitur is going to pop up next. Actually, he is the only candidate south of the border that I pay any attention to at all simply for entertainment purposes.

By June next year, you will be fed-up of listening to his bombastic bullshït and so will the people at the convention when they pick their nominee...

I think everyone knows he's not going anywhere and he probably knows it more than anyone else. He's just another twit wasting Gov't. money.

Noooooooooooooooope!

I will be surprised if he is not. I also don't see anybody else among the 3897 declared candidates on either side who can command the same attention. Perhaps people will grow tired of it but my gut says he will be the next pres.

How well do you think the country would fare with him at the controls?

I am not putting him forward as the best candidate or even one I would support (I am very glad I am not an American in this coming election -- the choices are slim) but simply stating I think he will win.

Northern Ontario,
Yup.... the intelligence level of people being polled leaves a lot to be desired and if we look at the result of the Ontario Provincial election, so does that of a lot of voters...:banghead:
