Pretty simple really... The BC gvt calculates the carbon emissions in large part via analyzing the sale of gasoline and diesel in the province. As the price of fuel increases, the number of people filling their cars and trucks in Washington State rises accordingly, however, as those stats aren't part of the province's calculations, the actual fuel consumption in their eyes has gone down and therefore the carbon emissions right along with it.

I'm curious as to how much of an effect these "reduced emissions" have had on global warming...

Most people are against air pollution..... or any kind of pollution...
But intelligent people know that this bullshyte global warming...is just a new tax racket in disguise..
I'm curious about the concrete issue I posted above. Since imported concrete isn't carbon taxed is it still counted being outside the formula.
The drop to 65% output of BC concrete which is under the formula would be a reduction of emissions in BC but the 1/3 being imported isn't. The emissions still exist just not in BC.

The median global temperature has dropped by 0.1 degree in the last 50 years. But you know the sky is falling and we are all going to have permanent sunburn starting any day now.
Big gubmint did it and business is just following the gravy train.
