the real kicker is this man had been wrong once before. He predicted the end in 1994, that obviously didn't happen, and yet his followers still remain faithful and continue to support his theory, spread the news, and hold on to his ever word, as if they hadn't learned their lesson from the first failure. It really baffles me that people can be that stupid and weak minded.
As mentioned before, he got his calculations from scriptures and numbers in the bible, but unless he had written the bible himself (which is impossible) then there is no possible way for him to have all the answers. This is nothing but his own interpretation. I've also read elsewhere that he was instructing people to stop going to church and listen to what he has to say instead, and unless you believe ever word of his babbling, you will not get into heaven. I've come to the conclusion that this is no different than a radical cult at this point....well he is nearly 90 years old now, I'm sure this will be his last end of days prediction, and will soon be reaching his own personal end.

ugh, so some poor fool who had bought all this nonsense had the gal to send me a message declaring that he was 100% sure that the rapture would start May 21 2011.
First I said to him, "Oh, then you must have the original bible and can translate Hebrew, because that is the only possible way for you to even begin thinking you are right, and even then, there are no specific written dates in the bible soooo yeah."
He simply said no he doesn't have one, but oh wait! He doesn't believe the bible has been revised much from its original text.....
