Now if that isn't a good excuse to kill more birds with something as useless as a wind turbine.
I would guess the exhaust from the NG plants needed with the turbines probably kills a few birds too, but then as they found out in Britain, they only usually come on in winter when the energy is needed most, because the wind doesn't blow much on the coldest days.

Love Canal is a hundred plus miles from a nuclear anything. It was a victim of "Better living through chemistry"

3 Mile Island was caused by substandard work on a bargain, cut rate American reactor design that made them lots of dough-re-me before it melted down into a blob..

Fukushima had the same sort of US made cheap junk compounded by an idiotic design that required cooling water to be pumped up hill with electric motors in case of a reactor failure and accompanying electrical blackout

Chernobyl was a primitive graphite regulated Russian hunk of junk that was blown up by a pissed-to-the-gills operator who was so blind drunk, he has no clue what he was doing.

Using stats provided the average wind farm kills 300 birds a year.

How many cover more than a quarter section (160 acres or 1/4 mile by 1/4mile)?

300 birds in that small an area can completely f-ck up an ecosystem.
