As long as the nukes stay east of the Rockies. And their emissions drift south.
There are no emissions other than warm water.

Says the apologist for extreme left violence. You shit-bag worshipers of violent regimes just love attempting to use dehumanizing labels don't you.Yea, let's bring up even more stuff that has no direct relevance to the topic.
That's real smart, Trumptard.

so..you don't have a nuclear engineer in the family who worked for hydro at the bruce eh?
you wouldn't say that if you did.
The turbines are excellent bird choppers. It's been calculated that each turbine kills about 1 million birds every 6 months.
I'm just relieved that we have someone looking out for us regarding those pesky flying critters.... Such a nuisance
That is interesting since it is estimated that all wind turbines in the US kill less than 600 thousand birds each year. Even the most extreme numbers I could find topped out at 40 million. That is still quite a few, but a lot less than the 10 billion your figures work out to. What is your source for the 2 million per generator? I also note that you made no mention of the number of birds killed by fossil fuel emissions or other causes.
You know what kills more birds that wind turbines? Cats, cars, pesticides, buildings.

SUre wish I could train trees to do that.
How deep are their wells that driving a few piles affects the water? And once all the piles are in how can they cause any long term problems?
Who is standing there counting dead birds? Fact remains, whirlygigs kill birds and not just a few.
amount of electricity from a turbine.....=?
amount of energy from nuclear reactor....=?
seems like a more worth while trade off...
Bird deaths in the U.S. per year:
Cats: 3,000,000,000
Buildings: 1,000,000,000
Cell towers: 7,000,000
Wind turbines: 300,000
But petros is only worried about the .0006% killed by wind turbines. Which leads a body to wonder if his motivation is really his concern for the widdle birdies.
So, because they're spread out, the fact that they kill thousands of times as many birds becomes irrelevant? It's .0006% too many.
Cats, buildings, and cell towers are spread out.
Whirlygig bird massacres are concentrated.
