I guess sealions don't like being fed chips.

or being teased.

good thing they're not called sea puppies or sea kittens.

I think the family might also be the type to wear flip flops up the grouse grind.

Or head for any of the mountains and get lost.

BC is far too dangerous for your average tourist.

I wonder how many of them try to pet the cute little bears too.

Use your own brain not the media.

Did you hear about the semi truck full of pool chems crashing on the Coquihalla and bursting into flames closing the highway yesterday?

Yes? No?

And Im not opposed to educating you.

Okay then, I'll add some insight.

A little over an hour ago I heard CBC Radio One news saying the fire is out, the remains of the truck and trailer that crashed and burst into flames was removed and the highway is fully open.

Last night before going to bed CTV interviewed an RCMP Cst. that stated the fire started in the engine compartment and spread to the trailer. There was no crash.

Moral of the story? Shop around for facts.

Any chance that the people on the dock heard the kid call the oldman that rescued her grandpa?

He speaks English and so does the kid.
Watch the video and listen closely

little visual...

Does this look like a crash or a truck that caught fire in the engine bay and stopped on the highway?

FWIW-Mandarin speaking locals identified the rescuer as the Grandfather-I can understand a tiny bit of what's being said but not enough to translate.

That is what I heard too but God forbid reality sinks in.

News reporting these days is f-cking garbage.

think I'll wait for the news to clarify, rather then the gossip from some bobble head on an internet forum.

The word of those there is no good?

So tell me which news should I trust about the burning truck highway closure? CBC that said almost two hours ago it crashed or CTV who had the Constable last night saying it was a fire that spread from the engine?

Which brand are you going to trust when it comes to the girl and the sea lion?

why would I tell you whom to trust?

Can't you verify sources yourself?

why would I trust your opinion on this? Are you the mother or the father? and if you are, how you going to prove that to me on the internet? ffs, I could be one of the family members for all you know. pfffffft!
