they located and identified the family then? Hopefully they thanked the guy who jumped in to save their daughter while the mom and dad stood by. They took off really fast in the video.

A little over an hour ago I heard CBC Radio One news saying the fire is out, the remains of the truck and trailer that crashed and burst into flames was removed and the highway is fully open.
Last night before going to bed CTV interviewed an RCMP Cst. that stated the fire started in the engine compartment and spread to the trailer. There was no crash.
Moral of the story? Shop around for facts.
Any chance that the people on the dock heard the kid call the oldman that rescued her grandpa?
He speaks English and so does the kid.

FWIW-Mandarin speaking locals identified the rescuer as the Grandfather-I can understand a tiny bit of what's being said but not enough to translate.

So tell me which news should I trust about the burning truck highway closure? CBC that said almost two hours ago it crashed or CTV who had the Constable last night saying it was a fire that spread from the engine?

If you read my thread you'd know I was on that dock just before this happened-70+% of the people there were Mandarin speakers.
And 99% are too f-cking racist to accept the fact that signage and law do not apply to them.
why would I tell you whom to trust?
