It means the RCMP deliberately fudged the GPS coordinates of the No Go Zone either because they are lazy or wanted to save the Gubmint some money.

Our other national symbol would never do something like that.
Next you'll be attacking maple syrup.

A judge has no opinion concerning the environment or anything other than interpreting the law.

Hey Cliffy, you don't believe that!!! Judges are PAID to interpret and uphold the law, but unless they are living in a vacuum they have opinions like everyone else. My opinion happens to be that people who have weeks and months to sit on their A$$ protesting don't have to contend with the real world and either they are independently rich or someone else is supporting them, but they have no god damn business impeding working people who are trying to pay mortgages and put food on the table. This is supposedly a free country for everyone and their rights lies with erecting signs and writing letters to the newspaper while other peoples freedoms including being able to go to work. As soon as someone puts his/her beliefs ahead of everyone else's they have lost all credibility with me. These people are not exactly f**king geniuses about matters pertaining to oil, pipelines or tankers. :)

The other side of that coin is that KM is infringing on the rights of a million people in the lower mainland to have clean air, water and a healthy environment to raise their children. Does their employees rights trump everybody else's. If you look into who was at the protest you will find that there was a complete cross section of society there, not just welfare bums like some would like to portray them as. At the heart of the issue was the pipeline crosses unceded native land, as well as a park and it was the aboriginal people who spearheaded the protests. 80% of Burnaby residents and city council opposed it but it was rammed down their throats. It is also our democratic right and duty to protest such injustices, otherwise, we do not deserve to live in this system called democracy.

Civil disobedience is not eco terrorism at all these actions in defiance are as old as
democracy itself

If a big company like Kinder Morgan gets hurt that's one thing, but when it's the poor bugger on the end of a shovel or hoe trying to put grub on the table, that is just a little beyond the pale.

HIs job was not in jeopardy at all. He would have just been moved to a different site. You are placing a two week job against many life times of environmental degradation for millions. Your perspective is a little askew.
