As a complement to my reply #136 on this page, I say:

How can anyman wrestle with God Almighty, the Creator of the entire universe with its planets, stars and galaxies!?

This alone indicates obviously that Ezra invented this story, and distorted the original Torah of God.

<http://www.quran-ayat.com/conflict/index.htm#the_mistake_in_the_torah_of_ezra>
The entire bible and the Quran are invented stories. You will not find truth in books written by men. If you want the truth, go to the source, whatever you imagine that to be. If you believe in Allah, ask Allah. If you believe in a turnip, ask the turnip. Books are no more than ink on paper. Talk about worshiping false idols. The bible and Quran are nothing more than idols. Your obsetion with them will get you into hell, my boy!

So someone can be a good Muslim without ever reading the Quran as long as they obey god.

Jews, before the coming of Jesus and Mohammed, who submitted themselves to God alone, were rightly guided and go to Paradise.

Christians, before the coming of Mohammed, who submitted themselves to God alone and did not say: Jesus is the son of God or God is Jesus or part of a Trinity, and worked righteous work, were rightly guided and go to Paradise.

When Prophet Mohammed came and the Quran was revealed, then it can't be anyone submit himself to God alone and at the same time he does not believe in God's apostle Mohammed and in God's revelation: the Glorious Quran;

Therefore, now anyone, that does not believe in the Quran and in Prophet Mohammed, will lose in the afterlife. And such disbelievers in Mohammed and the Quran are only given their reward (of any good work they do) in the life of the World only, but will lose in the next afterlife.

It means: God rewards them for their charity by giving them blessings and bounties and prosperity in the life of the World only; but in the next afterlife, they will lose.

This is in the Quran 3: 85
وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
The explanation:
(And who seeks as religion other than the Islam it will not be accepted from him, and he shall, in the afterlife, be of those who lose.)

God taught man the writing so he will write the heavenly books

You will not find truth in books written by men.

Who will write the revealed word of God, other than men!?

If you want the truth, go to the source, whatever you imagine that to be. If you believe in Allah, ask Allah.

You ask God's guidance; true.

Books are no more than ink on paper.

Wrong; such books: The heavenly books include the word of God; and they are not merely ink on paper.

These are the first ayat 96: 1-5 revealed to Prophet Mohammed:

اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ .خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ . اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ . الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ . عَلَّمَ الْإِنسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ

The explanation:
([O Mohammed] recite: in the name of your Lord Who created [the universe from the non-existence.]

[Who] created man from the 'worm-like structure'.

Recite, and your Lord is the Most Generous.

Who taught [the writing] with the pen [so that heavenly revelations might be written down.]

He taught man [some of the knowledge and sciences] that he did not know [before.])

Talk about worshiping false idols. The bible and Quran are nothing more than idols.

The heavenly books are not idols, neither they invite people to idolatry, but to worship God alone without associate whether idols or patron men.

Your obsetion with them will get you into hell, my boy!

Cliffy, Cliffy, your stubbornness will lead you to lose in the afterlife.

It's not surprising, around the time this Christ character was supposed to have been doing his thing, there were about 20 critters of the same name doing stuff.

It may be true.

Now, there appeared a large number of men: each claiming the Mahdi. And this is among the signs of the appearance of the Mahdi that many claimers appear before him.

That link was terribly difficult to follow. Nonetheless, what little I gleened from it did not explain as to why God in his wisdom would put Abraham's Israelite children as Chosen exemplars only to change it to Ishmael's later on. Since the Bible has so many prophetic statements within, it stands to reason that it would at least give a hint that some day God would drop the Judaic line from Judah to Jesus and use instead a different line. But it doesn't.

As for the notion that certain books were lost, my limited understanding of the subject compels me to acknowledge that some literature has been lost while others have been ignored. However, Judeo-Christian scholar-historians as well as other Western teachers of the subject have never come up with a consensus that multiple volumes are lost which would give a hint that Ishmael's line takes any form of precedence over the Israelite line.

However, again, if that is what you wish to believe, then so be it.

I have no idea what you are on about. The 20 mentioned were ordinary people living ordinary lives and not claiming anything. They are documented with evidence supporting their existences, unlike the one called "Christ"; that one is only documented. No supporting evidence.

The Christ came and left his teachings, his disciples and his Gospel; while your existence and identity is doubtful: because you hide behind some pseudonym and insert some ridiculous avatar related to some myths and fairytales.

Moreover, you said the 20 mentioned men were ordinary people living ordinary lives; and I add to you the Christ himself was an ordinary man also, but it was revealed to him to fight the idolatry and their enthusiasm about their religious leaders, prophets and seers, and to grasp the essence of the Commandments, not the external meaning of the words.

So while they disbelieved Jesus during his life, they now do not believe about his existence, as do they claim.

Mere hearsay and opinion.

It's likely as much a pseudonym as yours.
and insert some ridiculous avatar related to some myths and fairytales.
Yes, it does represent a myth. I can admit that. Can you about your nonsense? I doubt it. Your "insults" have no substance.

It's analogous.

Moreover, you said the 20 mentioned men were ordinary people living ordinary lives; and I add to you the Christ himself was an ordinary man also,
I don't think so. Of the other 20 men called Yeshua, there is proof of existence. There is no proof of the existence of the one called "Christ".
but it was revealed to him to fight the idolatry and their enthusiasm about their religious leaders, prophets and seers, and to grasp the essence of the Commandments, not the external meaning of the words.
External meaning?

So while they disbelieved Jesus during his life, they now do not believe about his existence, as do they claim.

God promised Abraham to make out of his progeny the religious leaders of mankind; but his promise did not include the wrong-doers among his seed.

Both Isaac and Ishmael were prophets and righteous men. Ishamael stayed in Mecca and reproduced as it is said in the Book of Genesis, to make a great nation (the Arab of Mecca, of whom Mohammed appeared later).

While Isaac and his son Jacob (surnamed Israel: which means the servant of God); they sojourned in the land of Canaan: Jordan, and he reproduced to make the twelve tribes of Israel and their story is known: they went to Egypt, to return later on to Siaai under the leadership of Moses.

God chose Abraham his loyal friend as he is surnamed; because he devoted himself to God alone and he broke up the idols of his people.

Then Abraham and his sons were submitting themselves to God alone in pure devotion, and God chose them.
Then God chose the Children of Israel as long as they worshipped Him alone without any other god or idol, and so they were His Chosen People worshipping Him alone.

But when they associated the gods and idols of the neighboring idolatrous peoples, He sent to them many apostles: like Elia or Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezechiel. Those apostles warned them against the idolatry and associating other gods (like Astaroth, Baalim, the star Sirius, the gold calf statue made for them by the Samaritan in the absence of Moses, and the two gold calf statues made for them by Jeroboam the son of Nabat following the death of Solomon); so the apostles warned them against this idolatry, and the Israelites did not listen to the apostles; therefore God empowered Nabuchodonosor against them, who destroyed them utterly.

So they betrayed their Lord, and chose the idolatry, and they were no more the Chosen People of God, and God divorced Israel, and they are not any longer His chosen people.
http://www.quran-ayat.com/conflict/english2.htm

Then after their return from Babylon, God sent to them Jesus Christ and Jews refused and hurt him; so he said to them as in the Gospel according to Matthews 21: 43
Therefore I say to you that the kingdom of God shall be taken from you [Jews] and shall be given to a nation* yielding the fruits thereof.”

[*It shall be given to a nation that shall work according to God’s commandments, i.e. the Islamic nation.]

The Chosen, in the time of Jesus, were the nation of Jesus: the Christians at their time.

While at the time of Prophet Mohammed, the Chosen People were the Muslims who believed in God alone and Mohammed the apostle of God, and they are the present Chosen People of God as long as they cling to the monotheism and the devotion to God alone without associate.

However, Judeo-Christian scholar-historians as well as other Western teachers of the subject have never come up with a consensus that multiple volumes are lost which would give a hint that Ishmael's line takes any form of precedence over the Israelite line.

This was to demonstrate that the Hebrew Bible is undependable, and people should now refer to the Glorious Quran which is the final revealed book from God Almighty.

The Quran came to confirm the Ten Commandments and to correct the alterations that happened in the Torah, most of which is now included in the Old Testament. And the Quran believes in Jesus as the prophet and apostle of God and in all other apostles.

Nice drawings and nice jokes; I have laughed much from my heart at this ied mubarak
Yeah, I thought it was pretty analogous of how most religions have no tolerance for the other religions. Each one foolishly thinks it is the only true religion. It is laughable, for sure.

In complement to my reply #137 on page 10

The word "Jew" exactly means: to return to God with repentance; and it is derived from the word هود which means: the returning.

As in the Quran 7: 156

وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَا إِلَيْكَ
The explanation:
([Moses prayed God:]
"And ordain for us in this Worldly [life] good [favor], and in the afterlife [a good life]; for we have repented to You.")

It means: we have returned to You with repentance.

This is according to the late interpreter Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly.

How come you put so much faith in the rantings of an uneducated guy who doesn't know English from a hole in the wall? I am really beginning to think you are not playing with a full deck.

The guy was not uneducated but ungraduated; and it is not essential he knew English; for although he was not sheikh or aalim or rabi, but he was inspired the knowledge of the interpretation of the Quran that even the professional learned religious leaders did not know.

The miracle of the Quran is that the apostle Mohammed who conveyed it, did not know much of its meaning; he said: I heard it from the angel as such.

Moreover, the companions of the prophets disputed and contemplated much in attempt to reach to know the meaning of much of its ayat, but they could not achieve that; and most of the commentators and interpreters did not reach to the eluciation of its meaning, and they said: "God alone knows its true meaning."

Then came this guy: a photographer who was ungraduated (he only knew writing and reading Arabic) and gave the inspired interpretation of the Glorious Quran more than 1350 years following the revelation of the Quran on the truthful apostle Mohammed - salam be to him.

This is in the Quran 38: 86-88

The explanation:
(Say [O Mohammed to your people]: "I ask not of you any recompense for it; neither am I charged with [interpreting the Quran.]

[This Quran] is only an admonition for [all] the worlds.

And you [people] shall surely come to know, after a time, the truth thereof.)

So Allah or an angel gave all this stuff to Mohammed 1400 years ago and he did not understand what he was given but he started a religion, destroyed all the existing religions and religious symbols that he could get his hands on in his lifetime and slaughtered anybody who would not join this religion that he didn't understand and Muslims have been waging holy war ever since on the infidel even though none of them know what the Quran means.... Holy Crap! That has got to be the most absurd nonsense I have ever heard.

Then some guy comes along and says he has been divinely inspired to translate the Quran into a language he doesn't even know and you come on here peddling this nonsense as if it were the word of god. You really aren't playing with a full deck.

Cliffy, if I didn’t know that you are not a Christian, I would accuse you of pot calling the kettle black. Christians do the same thing. I think Jesus was also uneducated. He was a carpenter by trade, and in those days, carpenters were uneducated, illiterate people, knowing their own trade, but little else.

Quite so, Cliffy. That is why I don’t understand why people don’t believe me when I say that I had a revelation from God, he revealed to me the only Commandment to achieve true salvation, (thou shalt eat an apple a day), and that Applism is the only true religion, anybody who does not subscribe to it is doomed to Hell, to eternal torture.

Jesus didn't start a religion. Some other bozos started it thinking Jesus was something he wasn't and never claimed to be.

I could say that I have had many conversations with god (I was rather high at those times). But it always told me that the messages were personal and wouldn't mean much to anybody else.
