yes, we've been doing a very quiet 'gloat' over the past days, knowing there was snow in many place,

but not here, not today, its coming down with gusto, oh well, just a tease, i'm sure it won't last

long.

i'll let the cats out in it, they will have some fun, till they realize, like I do, that it sucks. lol

Talked to Mom last night (Slave Lake - 250km or so N of Edmonton) and they were in the -30s with windchills taking it into the -40s. I'd rather have that than snow. Fortunately here in western PA, we are having a wimpy winter thats almost on par with what I had in Calgary for the past 10 years.

We may be able to take some comfort from the weather forcast that is calling for much thawing and rain over the
next few days------starting on Friday.........

I know that! Just be careful, we in the west are not in a very good mood!:lol:

But I'm conceding the win on the "who has the ****tiest weather" lottery to the west. I'm being all congenial and not even mentioning, for the second time, how our coldest temperatures have not even reached the double minus digits. How in comparison it's downright balmy here. I'm not mentioning any of that. :)

Please don't shut me out, lol.

It's cold here in Regina. Let my dogs out at noon (my lunch break)
so they could take care of business. One of them dropped a log and
it landed on end, and froze in place like that. It sort'a looks like a small
version of the Leaning Tower of Piza. That takes some very harsh
weather conditions to accomplish.

In my last Winter in Fort McMurry, it got so cold that a bowl of hot water put out on the back porch froze
so fast, the ice was still warm...

There's record snowfall all over North America and even in Japan. So much for global warming.

Very tiny science lesson... local weather and global climate are not the same thing. Having a healthy toe does not mean you're not dying of cancer. :)

OK Sweetie!

Yeah, I think this is more of a weather situation than a climate situation!
