But good enough for you to cite as evidence supporting your predictions of future changes.

So, that's how good they are for you apparently.

Wanna put your money where you mouth is?

I have a weather rock that makes me a climate scientist.

In the paper I've submitted to the IPCC I've emphasized that:

a) my weather rock has no snow on it

b) my weather rock is dry

c) my weather rock is warm in the sun

and most importantly

d) I could burn the lawn my weather rock sits on.

Odds are good I'm seeing a drought.

At some point is this not all just semantics? Climate change, pollution. We're treating the earth, the air, the water like a trash can.

I'm starting to realize where the mental loops are giving the deniers fits.

They seem to mesh the science with the policy. Which is odd, because one can completely accept the science even if they don't fully accept the policy.

Why does the policy seem to echo the same policy that Greenies always have... wealth distribution.

Unfortunately the climate has not changed in the same manner it has for the last 40 years.

Yes at times in the past climate change has been more drastic.

I have no qualms with people disagreeing about the degree of funding or the steps we are trying to take to amend this problem, but if you want to actually make a claim which opposes the fundamental science of anthropogenic climate change, then you need to actually support that claim.

And perhaps the global warming crowd need not have to manipulate the data to prove their theory. Nor should scientist who refuse to agree be punished by cutting their funding.

If this theory has been proven why is the GW crowd still asking for more funding? The earth is round... do we still need funding to do more studies?

Yes the climate is changing... what a discovery!

No ... humans will never stop the climate from changing. We can do our best to limit pollution, but stopping the earth's climate from changing?

Stopping human forced climate change. There's a difference. We won't stop the Sun from doing it's thing, or the Earth from orbitting the Sun as it does. The current climate trajectory is being forced by human activities. Are you purposefully being obtuse now?

Earth's geomagnetic toroid is the first line of defence against the sun doing what it does. It has been through far bigger changes than atmosphere has.

And geomagnetics aren't the problem, get your mind off the doughnuts, it's bad for your grey matter.
If you want you can pay me a geomagnetic tax since you are so willing to pay air taxes.

Have they come up with a plan to tax the solar input yet?
Not sure but I pay a rain/snow tax (storm water) and it just went up 10%. I use rain barrels and along with the puddle in front of the house, I should be charging them storage.

Maybe you can apply for some green funding to subsidize the hydro project that you have there... Sounds like a clear case of saving the planet to me.

How much an acre for using zero till openers?

At first carbon credits were $5 per acre seeded, then it dropped to $3.50 and now they are $1.65 before taxes. SWEET! It really motivates me to run out and buy more expensive "greener" equipment.

The obtuse ones can't see that huge ball of flaming hydrogen in the sky.

So make you case Walt. What is it? Sun spots? Total Solar Irradience? Cosmic rays? What's the cause of the long-term trend in the climate system?

When you're finished there, try explaining how the Sun could cause the energy imbalance at the top of the atmosphere, and a cooling stratosphere with a warming troposphere. Thanks very much in advance.
