The Conservatives are going to continue to alienate young voters with their continued rhetoric on issues like this. The older generation can only keep the Tories in power for so long.

Even though I am an old fart and a Conservative, I agree completely with your comments about this issue.

Well Mackenzie King might of been crazy.. and a mystic.. but he was a canny politician.. and did have a vision for the nation. I can't see any of that in Justin.
And he had a full resume before he entered politics.

I had a Reform MP in BC that wove baskets at Place Maillardville on Cartier St. Now there is a winning CV.
Baskets are more useful than politicians. Seems to me most sane people would not want to go into politics and people who think politicians are sane, are delusional.

If she could weave me a beer, I'd have voted for her.

She had some good points:
While in office, Hayes joined many of her Reform colleagues in donating 10% of
their salary to charity and opting out of the MP pension plan.[3

He hasn't lost the old folks vote either he just brought back a lot of memories.
I am beginning to think the people worried the most are the Conservatives.
They have taken the bait. Here is a guy who suddenly appears to be one of
the common folk, and he will build an image just like dear old dad did long
ago.
The Tories have two problems now one is Trudeau, the other is if they build
all those problems and they have no one to fill them how will they be able to
privatize the system like in "Merica" ah boy. Give me a break by everyone
jumping in to talk about it he is creating interest in Justin Trudeau. Peter
Mackay should smoke some he might even come up with a vision quest all
his own, he certainly doesn't have one now.

They are going to alienate ALL voters unless they get rid of that overpaid and corrupt senate!

Once in a blue moon Cliffy you do have a knack of landing on the exact truth! -:) (You can take the weekend off from thinking.) -:)

He'll be the next PM and the NDPQ will be non-existent. I have very few issues with the NDPQ going bye-bye.

Me neither, none of them have Layton's smarts, many of them are neophytes (still damp behind the ears) I'm not sure how many speak English and we can't afford ANY of them!

Oh, yeah, don't get too wound up over Mini Trudeau, he looks like a nice guy but that may be as far as it goes and we don't need some f**ker raised in Quebec or Ontario running the west. I'm afraid he already has too many people baffled! I guess the problem is every day Harper is making him look a little better. It might be a conspiracy between the two or them. -:)

Layton knew what the hell he was doing. Mulcair is an idiot.
Nah, they are/ were both idiots!!
Might as well throw the pot head in there with these two.

The Libs will be an extinct species after the next election. They have steadily being going downhill in the last few elections and the next one will put the final nail in the coffin.
The Libs supporters continue to wail the same support for their leader as they have for the last two, but the trend to oblivion continues for the Libs!! Woo Hoo !!

Why do you think that? Haper's popularity isn't doing very well right now but the two years before elections always come nice Socialist handouts to buy votes with our own money.

How the hell did Harper get so good at being a Socialist? Layton would have been proud of him.
