Ford is neither the better person, nor smarter. He's a Trump worshiper himself and would sell Ontario away if he could (See Starlink).
You mean the Starlink contract he's ripping up? Starlink was going to be used to provide internet to remote communities in Northern Ontario. Why? Because no Canadian telecomm company wants to fuckin' do it. Not sure what that had to do with Trump but I guess when you irrationally hate someone (Ford), you gotta make up stupid shit about them.
Contract he was GOING to rip up, but didn't. Unless he's going back on it too now that tariffs are back on. But there was no "making stupid shit up" at all in what I said. And yes, I know what it was SUPPOSED to do, but if you think providing Musk that kind of control won't come back to bite Canada in the ass, you're a fucking moron. That's the "sell Ontario away" bit. (and I think it's bullshit no telecom company in Canada will provide the service, or someone else; at least someone NOT Starlink and thus not owned by Musk)
As for Trump, Ford is a Trump asskisser and a two faced moron and the only reason he's not a 'traitor' to me is because he's too fuckin' stupid to be one.
Up until the start of this year though? I didn't give a damn about Ford in any way. No reason to. But this flip flop on Starlink and Trump - since Musk is part of Trump's Government - warrants being absolutely disgusted by the 'man'.

It was kind of weird in how the seats got distributed. The 3rd place NDP (19% pop vote compared to 30% lib) got 10 or so more seats than the Libs.
And in her concession speech she vowed to stay on and lead the Liberal Party. Really? Like nobody else has a say in this?

The Liberals are sucking canal water at all levels of Government. Ford is the right man in this moment...whether your delusional self agrees with me or not.
She also did something I have not ever seen in any concession speech. A concession. Usually it is customary to congratulate the winner. Usually all politicians make a note about the sacrifice of all candidates (not just theirs) running for public office. That was also missing. All boiler plate stuff but shows a bit about her character.
You might have a point if I thought any of the other parties in Ontario either a) had a chance in hell and b) weren't worse than Ford.
But since I never said - until now - any position, I guess you can get a pass on that assumption.
