The latest Poll shows Trump increasing his lead after the almost universal condemnation of his remarks by the political and media establishment.

I'd love Trump to win the US Presidency and Tyson Fury to win this year's BBC Sports Personality of the year. It'd be fecking hilarious.

Both events will show just how out of touch the lefty liberal right-on PC establishments who run Britain and America today are with ordinary voters.

Trump made news yesterday by saying he would impose mandatory death sentences on any cop killers. Not surprisingly this was before a police union which had endorsed his campaign.

What you have to realize about Trump is that he absolutely no hard and fast political principles. He has the instincts of carnival barker of reponding to an immediate clientele, without reference to coordinates in universal moral time and space.

His comments of the death penalty and on preventing Muslim immigration lack any substance because they are beyond the Constitutional authority of the President. They are thrown out to appeal to a specific audience and specifically their to their emotions, prejudices and fears.

He's also thrown out ideas that are absolute heresy to the Republican establishment.. against Free Trade.. which is what interests me about him. Anyone who casts aspersion at that moron Reagan's free market, trickle down, debauched economic theories.. is not someone difined by an ideology.

I actually think he would be a better President than some others simply because he is not an ideologue.. can turn on a dime, and has a keen sense for opportunity and for interests the common man.

I don't think he'll win.. but the rage with which the political and media establishments are reacting to him.. indicates to me there is something worth considering.. much as there was with Ross Perot in 1992.

He's a better executive than he is an advocate... the latter of which come out as a confused jumble of half baked pitches.

anyway, did anyone post this yet?

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952

“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of
any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the
interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as
he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens
as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any
restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

if so, whatever and as you were.

Interesting viewpoint. I still think Trump will wind up being the next president of the USA (either as a Republican or Independent). The reason I think this guy is wrong is that Trump has kind of side stepped all the usual processes and metrics going into a campain that this guy is relying on. By making it Trump vs everybody else, he has prevented them from bashing each other out. The longer he remains a front runner the harder it will be for Republicans to turn away.

That being said, the front runners have almost never won the nomination on either side. In 2008 Hillary was the front runner then too and you can see how well that worked for her.

He didn't have to go against the First Amendment to sanction a nation

Does the first amendment apply to people that are not citizens of the USA?
