Thanks for the verification.

By the way my post above was voice to text and that stupid program just inserts capitals willy-nilly whenever it fucking feels like.
Thanks for the correction on Memorial Day I was trying to remember what the United States called Remembrance Day. So it's Veteran's Day is that it?

"Harbor" isn't capitalized, it's "disdain," "Arms" isn't capitalized, it's six months and two weeks until Memorial Day, and my brother never served.
So your disdain is for all veterans or just the ones that like hunting "sand niggers", or as the Canadian military likes to call them 'push-starts', 'pull-starts', and 'kick-starts' ?

:?D

Weirdly it seems to depend upon your breathing pattern…. And I know that sounds dumb, but…the “And” above is an example.

If you pause while thinking of the correct word it very well may capitalize the following word.

Also, if your mouth is dry, you get very, very unpredictable results. It’s good to have a cup of something close and just have quarter ounce sips as you’re doing text to talk.

Yes I should know better that you have to proofread everything voice to text before you click Send < and there was no pause for send, by the way...
Short of proofreading you must enunciate every word and speak them slowly and one at a time. I have often noticed how it will put in well when you say while but you really have to stretch out the vowel on while so it catches that long I sound.
That's why I'll never call this thing a smartphone. Because it's a stupidphone.

Text to talk is an art form, that none of us seem to have completely mastered, but I sure do appreciate the fact that it exists!!!

Yeah. Here's one I'll bet you hear a lot. . . "What kind of fucking idiot are you?"
I bet you've had that a lot too, but for you it's a rhetorical question because the answer is obvious: the kind of idiot who would vote for a cackling camel toed shit for brains word salad dumb twat and wouldn't give a shit if that put all of his brothers at arms in certain harm's way.

Believe it. Twelve years in service gets you a lot of such enquiries, usually at a an. . . elevated. . . volume.

The only good answer is "First class, Sergeant!" Agreeing that you're a moron, an idiot, a degenerate, or whatever abuse they're heaping on you kinda takes the wind out of their sails.

At ease then, private! or public, or whatever you are.

Airman, at the time. Later I WAS the sergeant.

I was once in a multi-nation parade, and let me tell you, NOBODY can cut you to nothing like a British Army regimental sergeant-major!

U.S. Marine DIs ain't even in the game.

😳 We’ve got a buddy who is a sergeant in the Air Force here in Canada (supply sergeant), & in the last couple years. I can’t remember him even raising his voice.

I’m sure we see a different side of him than what he projects in the workplace.

In point of fact, the abuse usually dials down to just the young-men norm (95% of the U.S. forces are under 40) after initial training.

It actually has a purpose. Kids in Western democracies need to learn in a hurry they ain't as special as mommy and the teachers told them they are.

As opposed for the twice impeached, 34 charged and found guilty, sexual assaulter/rapist, liar, stooge for foreign countries and just all around asshole who disrespects the military because he has no comprehension or empathy skills past his narcissistic demands of self fulfillment, who is bordering dementia if not in full dementia, thinks Hannibal Lecter is a "Great guy" and is so far removed from reality that people who were staunch supporters won't support him anymore (unless it benefits them, then they'll flip-flop like a fish out of water).

Yeah... the US got the real 'winner' there.

But that's what the majority wanted, what they voted for (and already so many are regretting).

Yep, the legendary "business acumen."

Back in 2016, Forbes pointed out that his fortune was about what he would have had if he'd just handed the money he got from Daddy to a competent broker and told the broker to put together a medium-conservative portfolio.*

* "Conservative" here meaning "low-risk/moderate return," not "commit treason."
