Before the ice melted none,now that there is space for ships to go through,a few claims part of it,i know Russia does,i think Iceland do to,and the yankees claim part of it.....and as usual we canada get screwed.

Ah, this Global Warming stuff is just a temporary swing. Soon we will be into the beginning of a new ice age and the north will become frozen over again, then all this military posturing will become mute. Of course, we could always use the F-35 to blow the crap out of the north and make the minerals available even in an ice age.

I'm losing it, Gerry, when I read it I puzzled over it for a minute, thinking that a couple or more decades ago 40 countries had a claim on Antarctica, not realizing that he was actually thinking about the Arctic. Methinks my thinking days are coming to an end. :lol:
