Nobody said, which is why I said If/When.... If they want to, or When they want to..... just as If Nova Scotia or Newfoundland or BC want to or when they want to..... any province should have the democratic right to pull out of the country if they deem it in their best interests, regardless if they speak french or english, which was the point I was trying to make.

Clearly that went over some heads.

So, what was your point?

The only thing that links these targets is their place in the Conservative party pantheon of villains.
If there's anything a red-meat Conservative hates more than a civil servant, it's a unionized civil servant. Indeed, the only thing worse is an uppity, female, unionized civil servant who complains to a human rights commission (which red-meat Conservatives also hate) that she's not paid enough.
So how did the famously clever Harper get himself in this bind? To answer that question, recall The Sopranos. In that television show, mob leader Tony Soprano occasionally felt compelled to whack innocent bystanders – particularly after he'd demonstrated some element of human understanding – just to remind his own supporters that he was ruthless enough to be their boss.
Keep this image in mind. Keep in mind also that when Tony Soprano became too outrageous, his equally venal opponents felt compelled to stop him.

My dear mit,

With all due respect.

Perhaps I misunderstood !

In that little treatise, was there a threat of some kind?

Just an observation.

sorry maybe i mist my replys to someone else post.

You may have to pardon my lack of ability to understand much French, but I will attempt to respond based on my good ol french/english translator:

"I am new here and I try to represent what you Western people receive of what really takes place.

In the reading of these comments I returns me count that a lot of wrong information circulate and of numerous bugbear any ca agreed being aimed at manipulating the population."

^ in response, I'm from Nova Scotia on the east coast obviously, and I also believe the west has a skewed load of information as well. For me, I have seen the Harper machine unloading their propaganda right from the start.... and from what they said in the news today, Harper plans to bring up the seperatists and the destruction of democracy nightmares, when they're not even the case.

You know what is really funny? during these economic troubles we're all in, with all of the people losing jobs, with so many heading to the food banks, with even the other parties spent from the last election, with the conservatives not even planning any type of plan to help out our economy when clearly even the stocks and dollar are suffering....... the Conservatives seem to have all kinds of money to continue with even more radio (and soon enough tv) ads shoving more propaganda to the rest of Canada to scare them with typical Hitler tactics to keep his power and position.

Wonderful use of money in these times we have..... oh yeah, the economy is just super in rich land. But every man for himself right? Get a big company, hire a bunch of people, work them for years, get millions of dollars, and when it gets tough, don't bother to just help out your own company or economy...... no..... just lay off everyone and shut the company down. For some of you (Those rich arses) you may just keep your company on a skeleton crew just to keep some more money coming and wait it out through the storm, just so you can get more money.

Who cares about the people who worked for so long and hard for you to get all that money.... every man and woman for themselves after all.

Great way to start bringing everything back to Kings and Territory again.

The Conservatives had a top member who floozed around with a woman from the Hell's Angels and just mysteriously left top secret information...... where again?

And don't forget Harper not actually doing anything since he's been in power, sorta like Bush. Who doesn't have a clue in what he's doing, except keep throwing bills and votes to things he and everybody else knew put everyone else at a disadvantage, inlcuding the other parties.....

He is trying to gradually kill off whatever choices we have left and make it impossible for other parties to enter the race and be any type of option.....

He thinks from this past election that he has an advantage. He also thinks that because he could travel more, that he could do better ads then most of the other parties, and that he got more seats this time, that cutting off the other parties is the way to win a majority.... That is exactly why he and his party pulled this stunt. The only difference this time is that the other parties are not as stupid as he'd like to think he is.

Who's being the real killer of democracy?

If you have no options to choose from in an election, then where's the democracy?

Might as well be Zimbabwe.

Oh and this all wasn't directed to you QuebecFan, I just went on a rant.

So, tell me, when did we invade Quebec???????????????

You are simply not dealing with reality.....Harper has the support of the vast majority of the population outside of the Separatists....simple as that. To defeat an enemy, politically or militarily, you need to isolate them, render them insignificant, NOT invite them to live in your house and give them the keys to the gun cabinet.

It is increasingly obvious that a very significant part of Canadians simply don't give a damn about the nation.

It is also increasingly obvious that our Prime Minister, whom I used to respect and support, has lost his mind. He's ranting. He's railing against people for suggesting the very thing he himself suggested in 2004 (when he tried to set up a coalition with the Bloc, to replace the Martin gov't). And he can't even recognize the Canadian Flag, apparently.

I think Harper has blown a fuse. I think he needs medical attention. And I'm not kidding.

So, what was your point?

I guess it would be that My Point is that you haven't even brought a vaild argument to this debate since you decided to call me out with your "Holier Then Thou" gracefulness.

Shall I draw it out for you?

You started towards me with this:

"Being Patriotic doesn't mean you force an entire population to stay under your rule if/when they don't want to be, just so you can say you're a part of a unified nation..... "- You are starting your argument out under a very questionable premise, which makes anything further you say null & void."

Which brought us to this.....

"Unless you state your explination why it is a "Very Questionable Premise" your null and void remark is null and void now isn't it?"

^ In other words, explain why you believe your opinion you posted?

" if/when they don't want to be"- Who said "they don't want to be?"

^ If you tell me your view on something I said, then you ask a question about what you commented on...... that would mean you were ignorant to the thing you decided to attack.

Good thinking, way to be.....

And yet you still didn't give me an adiquate response except with lame ass trolling.....

so again.... explain why you felt my comment was a Very Questionable Premise.

Do something productive for once, it'd be a nice change.

I already stated and in detail, explained my point.... learn to read.
