Your home is likely more comfy than a lot of other places, so yes, PT, I think they would like it.
thanks anna for the encouragement to think bigger,
i would hope or certainly hope noone would be placed in anything less then comfy, this is a horrible thought to think there may be different possibilites of comfort or lack of.
my home is pretty comfy to me,maybe not to others.
i am confident placement is more preferable in other places, rather then my home due to "where i live",then again i like to think i could help.
i am confident canadians are going to do the right thing, and everything is going to be be good.
maybe i should get a dog?

Just make sure you have everything in writing especially the end date of their stay.
funny!

Written, signed and dated contracts (and in this case bilingual English and Arabic contracts) are always a good idea.
funnier!

I think it a nice gesture. If you have the means and believe in the cause, you should by all means do so.

Also, I don't think it is against the law for them to be in the same place as some place that has pork or booze just not consume it. So you don't have to give it all away to the Captain (sorry Captain).
thanks for the encouraging words, they are noted!

Better to prepare for the worst case scenario don't you think? If they turn out to be Christians no problem.
your joking are you not?

We discussed this as well. We have four empty bedrooms so as long as they're willing to live in a rural area, we'd gladly take a family or two
fabulous!

I would guess that 99% of them would be tickled pink to live in a warm dry shed and eat Kraft dinner three times a day.

I would amend the last post to the ones "who have walked across Europe and have nothing but the shirt on their backs".

If ;you want to offer y;our home, go for it! They can accept your invitation or not.
We all have to do what we have to do to feel good about ourselves.

Justin said he was going to create employment by building infrastructure. Maybe that could include a few living complexes. Possibly there may be a few jobs in that for the refugees.
