"fascist military industrial complex"

riiiight............. nice catch phraze though, sounds catchy and makes the person saying it sound like they know what they are saying. How can you say your not all the way backin left field without laughing at yourself when you say something like that.

The USA has a messed up democracy yes, discrimination happens their at pretty much the same level as most other nations, even less, people are not trying to flee from the USA but actually going to great lenths to get in, and yes it is in an aggressive war but really lookat who they are fighting right now. These wern't peaceable nations and one of the two nations was a regime which openly supported terrorists and tormented it's own people. The other one was a brutal dictatorship which was much closer to facsism then the USA is. Though I am against the war in Iraq, I do not think making such accusations of the great evil empire of the "Fascist" USA helps, but discredits any of the actual logical accusations you can bring up afterwards.

No matter how much I don't like what the USA does, I find it hard to call them fascists.

Yeah from what Finder said, Retired Soldier you seem to be the same kind of soldier that Finder talks about.

Really interesting what you have posted Finder. However, I don't think I am too worried about killing someone. However, if I saw someone torture or beat someone that is where I would have difficulty.

I must have missed what Retired_Can_Soldier said about the army as I could not find it. But I was in the army during the late 90's, and though I might paint a scary picture of it I must say I do have a mixed opinion of the military. I won't lie I had nightmares about basic training for a full year after I left the forces and being back in the military. Not because of the political aspects but just the expirance can be so overwhelming when you first join. But I have to say I had fun too. You may have even more fun then I did as the military has slightly better funding then when I was in. Everything was in short supply when I was in and oddly enough there would be a few things over supplied at times which never made much sence. I remember we had so much aumo that we were asked to fire it all during the night. From 0800 hours to about 2230 we fired our c7's and anything else we could find at the fire range hill.

I really hope you like it bro.

Oh yes Darkbeaver and I tend to agree on much (sarcasism).... You and DarkBeaver are much more closer then you and I my friend, or myself and Darkbeaver. Even the style of your posts are oddly simuler. You both try to post what you both believe are facts from other people and documents but end up posting doctrines, propaganda and believed myths.

Hahaha. OK.

Ya...I was a little shocked by that too.

"authoritarianist"
hmmm and I thought I made up words on the fly sometimes. lol. No I know what you mean. Any theory where you have to force people for the "common good" will lead into a authroitian state even if the theory says other wise. I think in the end you do need a social contract of some sort, but one workable around human needs and not one which deenies many aspects of human society like Marx does.

Plus his theory of the cataclysm of capitalism and the workers revultion never came true PLUS he indeed admitted before he died that it was not going to happen because of recent events. So indeed Marx may have believed the workers were still shafted, but indeed pretty much didn't believe in the main thesis of the communist menifesto. Which means the whole thought behind the workers Utopia should be re-thought. But try telling that to a marxist or a marxist leninist. *shrugs*

your money was actually the first to go. I'm going to let you in on the big left wing secret Jay... tell nobody or it'll get worse on you. See we collect taxes from you... To pay for our big government, see we hire bumbs off the street because of our socialist idea's to annoy you guys. We are also giving away our military to the UN and secrectly taking orders from the communist council... I mean general assembly. See after releaving you from your taxes we are going to bug your phones... and you remember your last visist to the doc? Well she planted a micro chip in the side of your head. Everytime you hear that annoying buzzing sound in your ear... well it's just us trying to retune your implant. Remember Mcdonalds.... well next year we are going to spend your tax money and buy them and then pay the counter girl who always messes up your order more money then you get paid. Thats only the start of our plan.. Remember... don't tell our soul.....

Finder I have a dictionary and I look up the words and if they fit what I see and read then I just jam them together untill they roll off they tounge in an hormonious manner. And I can easily
say that I'm not coming from way back in the looney left field.

Fascism=a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race and stands for a centralized autocratic often militaristic government.

They have a long history of training terrorists (school of the Americas) and have conducted thousands of terrorist attacks themselves useing every weapon and tactic you can think of. Or do you realy believe a terrorist is just a guy with a bomb or an A/K, state terrorism is where the real action and money is Finder.

The military industrial complex part is what acctually runs the country, the democracy part is a very thin slime on the top. Check out the lobbyists. The military is big enough for six or seven planets.

And I laugh at every sentence I write because it's the way it is and I love it. :) :) :) :)

I would like to thank The Merriam Webster Dictionary 1997 edition with thier help on fascism. This post would not have been poossible without thier tireless dedication to the meaning of words. I would also like to thank my mum and dad and Eddy the bus driver for getting me to public school were I learned to read a little.

I don't know Darkbeaver, it sounds awfully close to something I'd expect to hear Chomsky rant about. I think we need to be a little bit more realistic when we talk about American policy.

I don't know but both the Taliban and Iraq fits the term facsist more then the USA does. could you denny that Darkbeaver?

RE: Do socialists deserve

American policy is global domination, and that's not quesswork it's expressed and published policy for the new American century, it's called Full Spectrum Dominance that means everything.
The Taliban are going nowhere and Iraqs being pounded into the Iron age why are you worrying about either of them. There was never any threat to N America from either of them. I think you need to be more realistic about American policy I'm already ultra realistic about it.

PS; stop frightening Jay he'll flip out and do something stupid.

Now in this forums alone I have had at least six people surprised that I am socialist and a soldier.

So why is it unbelievable that a socialist wants to be in the army??

I suspect to get a free education. I also suspect all those Americans who deserted and fled to Canada to avoid service in Iraq were socialists. Democrats are the leftwing there.
