Or, in English: let's worship China, and God Forbid we mention their human rights record.

Still, it's interesting that Dion is capable of saying anything that suggests a thought not related to Kyoto. I wasn't sure if he was capable of that.

He's certainly hammered that message, maybe the Liberals realized they can't be so one-dimensional.

Today I caught part of his speech, he was talking alot about funds for post secondary education and R&D. I don't know how many times I've heard politicians say they were going to help students out.

I heard him speak today as well, he's a good crowd worker, and he's fast with the answers and exudes comfort with the material. But he's a capitalist pig, and I don't like his new haircut.

Really. Like Finance Minister Martin allowing tuitions to double and enabling students to rack up a collective debt higher than the national debt. That sure helped them out, alright.

Well with China and India graduating more scientists and engineers than can fit in the Skydome per year we'd better think of something fast. The Big Lie is upon us. Developing countries don't want just the crust - they want (and are positioned to eat) the whole pie. Me, I'd like to see more emphasis on inter-provincial trade. Whenever we get in bed with the world we're, in that delicate gay phrase, bottoms.

Interprovincial and regional trade I think is what we should be thinking about, and we have got to get away from the big is beautiful idea. Small is smart. Our proximity to the US markets is an advantage but it's not in our favour, that big market benefits from it more than we do. The biggest problem I see with respect to our economy is it's not realy our economy it's thier economy. We are so close to being swallowed whole, I cannot see any way for us to survive thier problems.

now the self-proclaimed minarchist speaks of lack of intrusion like its a bad thing when it suits his purpose.
