Liberal Leader Stéphane Dion said Thursday that Canada must develop long-term economic policies with a focus on emerging markets to make sure the country remains competitive in the world.
Really. Like Finance Minister Martin allowing tuitions to double and enabling students to rack up a collective debt higher than the national debt. That sure helped them out, alright. He's certainly hammered that message, maybe the Liberals realized they can't be so one-dimensional.
Today I caught part of his speech, he was talking alot about funds for post secondary education and R&D. I don't know how many times I've heard politicians say they were going to help students out.
Actually, I'd like to see Canada develop more trade with other nations and quit relying so much on trade with the US.
Also, shipping is cheap between there and here. BIG stumbling block to my wish.So would I Gilbert but there are signifigant problems with diversification of our trade.
