I can tell you what "fixing old gear all the time" sounds like.

Large parts of the globe have already passed the crucial climate threshold of 2 degrees Celsius of warming, Post analysis has found

A Washington Post analysis of multiple temperature data sets found roughly one-tenth of the globe has already warmed by more than 2 degrees Celsius. That's more than five times the size of the United States.

A Mouse Once Bit My Sister
When three billion people who suddenly find their homelands under water come knocking at our door DEMANDING that we take them in and killing every last one of us when we don't, I will wish for the climate that we had back in the "good old days".

The "good old days" like back in 2013 when we had ice at the North pole and the oceans hadn't risen 20 meters?... those "good old days"?

We are being told that We will all be dead in 10 years so who gives a fu*k? Party on
As long as we continue to have little if any respect for the planet and its atmosphere, it should not be a surprise if the planet decides to exorcise itself of the most careless pollutants and abusers........... humanity Nature follows certain principles and rules........to maintain a critical balance. It constantly adapts to the mistreatment humanity throws at it.......an adaptation that does not favor humanity. Nor should it.........given that the humanoid is supposed to have intellect and wisdom.

You just posted a few posts up that much of the planet already went past the tipping point, might as well embrace it and party on into oblivion.

Americans increasingly say climate change is a crisis, and two-thirds fault Trump for doing too little to tackle problem, poll finds

A Washington Post-Kaiser Family Foundation poll finds a growing disconnect between Americans worried about the warming planet and Trump administration officials, who have aggressively scaled back Obama-era environmental regulations and relinquished the nations role as a global leader in pushing for climate action.

The poll finds that a strong majority of Americans about 8 in 10 say that human activity is fueling climate change, and roughly half believe action is urgently needed within the next decade if humanity is to avert the worst effects of climate change.
