The Democrat Primaries being rigged... oh that was a given. There was no disputing that. Debbie Wasserman Schultz didn't resign for no reason.
Not only was 2016 Hillary Clinton's turn... it was Hillary Clinton's turn in 2008. She was the chosen one then too. Then a populist candidate named Barrack Obama came on the scene and beat Hillary soundly. The DNC made darn sure that was not going to happen again and they made no secret of it.
