Think about it. Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky. Who watches everything you do every minute of every day.

Quite so, the emphasis here is on ‘man’. All the major religions are patriarchal in nature, relegating women to a second class status.
wow I agree. Gods are "it"s, "that"s, and "those"s.

Speaking of fences.

Why is Heaven fenced in?

Who sits in for St Petros when he is lunching?

A Commissionaire?

Northern Ontario,
I see it as a bit disingenuous for people to attack with no qualm the Christian religion alone and steer away from the Islamic religion (I guess it would be politically incorrect)

I have yet to see a Southern Baptist bible thumper strap on a belt of explosives and blow himself up in a cowded mall while shouting "Praise the Lord";-)

DaSleeper, I have attacked Islam (and Hinduism) here many times, as strongly as I have attacked Christianity (it may have been before you joined the forum).

But the fact is, we get many Christians on this forum, we hardly get any Muslims (we used to have a few, but they left, probably they couldn’t take the attacks on Islam). So Islam does not come that much into discussion, Christianity does.

But no religion is exempt from an Atheist’s criticism.

They tend to hide in the hedges with rifles outside of abortion clinics.

No balls at all.

It takes a real man to "blow yer seff ta bits" in the name of the Lord.

Come on, Pertros, give them some credit. There was Timothy McVeigh, you may recall. Also don’t forget killing of so many abortion doctors, Dr. Tiller being the most recent. I am sure it takes plenty of courage, lot of intelligence, lot of fortitude, plenty of religious faith to shoot an unarmed doctor providing a legal service.

Don’t sell Christians short.

The "pre flood" bi-valves were enormous.

I just love the smiling clam. Don't you?

McVeigh is still in one bit.
