This is the ultimate result of Monetarism.. the de-nationalization and commodification of currency and credit into instruments controlled by the Global Investment Organism.. and its running dogs in the IMF, WTO, World Bank.

It is a snake eating its own tail. Don't be fooled by promises that this is an exceptional.. one time event. It is in fact an inevitable result of a ballooning of currency, by debt and market expansion, to a point where it has lost all proportion to the productive capacity of the world economy. It is a sea of claims on the world's productive output that can never be realized.. and is now in an inevitable state of implosion.

It is a systemic rot on the Free Market Globalized Economy and its financial system.. and its tactics are clear now. It will confiscate your bank accounts to feed its insatiable appetites.. essentially to prevent the hyper-inflation that would result should these claims stop being rolled over and seek safe harbour in hard assets. It's coming to a bank near you.

These mad dogs, especially in the IMF, will use any threat and intimidation, to force their prey (the nation states of the world) into submission.

Spell it out Morgan, commit to text, cast your die or retire from the field to hide under your sisters skirts, your sword unbloodied.

Most of that is quoted directly from the works of Bob Shakespearatyou.

Put the pieces together DB, they are all there right in front of you.

Were I a Cypriot, I'd be busily burning Nicosia to the ground.

And I'm not kidding.

BTW, the last budget included plans to set up for Canada to do the same thing, if necessary.

Oh Joy!

Man the barricades!!

The NWO, as commonly discussed, is not my "precious" NWO which I have explained many times previous suffers from chronic underfunding owing to my frequent liquidations to secure beer. Sure I would loot peasant accounts if I could but the present NWO has gotten in line ahead of me due to my security breaches early in the planning stages. How in gods name, any god, do you see the NWO as victims in these bank lootings?

Careful Colpy. Statements like that will get you labeled homocidal by the resident Bear.

I'm curious. Were the people blind-sided by this action? You would think that many bank accounts would already be empty. No?

Probably would have been but the banks closed their doors for 2 weeks while it was sorted out to prevent any bank-run. Just proves that the bankers and govt are in collusion because it is in violation of the law to close for that long yet it was encouraged by the govt.

How about fighting for a law that doesn't allow a bank to put more than $100,000.00 in any account since that is all they are required to insure. In fact, a bank structured like this could be a new market niche....how about pushing for more simple holding companies that hold funds but don't have the right to have access to them for development purposes or investment purposes. If a bank is going to have access to funds it should be law that any amount of money they access has to be insured but that is completely unreasonable given the size and scope of the way savings are used to fuel expansion through banks access to them.

I am not pleased either with what we are seeing in Cyprus but at the same time if we let this happen without learning from it, and the most important group that should learn from this are every day average people like you and me who want to find a place to deposit our savings...it needs to go beyond expressing opinion and move into finding alternatives. Ways to prevent this from happening again. Not answers from a government who we always leave the decisions to. Answers from us...

I think that even though this whole affair is a mess there is good potential there to shock the public somewhere enough to come up with a different way....born of fear. Usually it takes fear to promote action from lazy, complacent societies. Fear and anger...
