My Friend...that they're rarely given is one thing, & why they're rarely (if ever now)
given is a more interesting (but no less frustrating) thing. It's part of Trudeau's legacy.

Ron - Hope this is not against the rules - and if it is they should be on a case by cae basis. A recent conviction in Calgary Alberta has clearly been a miscarriage of Justice in the sentencing of Daniel Tschetter for the deaths of 5 innocent people. Does the Crown intend to appeal this sentence. Many cases and recent case law across Canada have had longer sentences awarded for causing fewer deaths than this person killed. A reply is requested
