In the beginning there was monkey and monkey turned into man and man created god.
Not quite (humans were never monkeys and vice versa) but the idea of progression is a definite possibility. lol

Man created the Go Go and the Swing and the twist!
.... and junkfood. :D

Don't worry Herald. They'll come around when they are faced with incontrovertable evidendence of the Truth of scripture... on Judgement Day... ;)
That day'll never happen because there will never be "incontrovertable evidendence" of anything. lmao

You've got to ask yourself Lone Wolf, which shoes you would rather be in. In yours facing my future. Or in mine facing your future. It seems to me i would be in a realm of non sentience or meaning, nothing lost, nothing gained, and nothing remembered... but where will you be if i turn out to be right??
If he's a good person, prolly in a place where good ex-persons go. :)

Hey dummy...Allah IS the same God as the "Christian" and "Jewish" God. Wasn't it you that said athiests are so much better informed about the different religions than believers? Guess you kinda prove yourself wrong, don't ya.
Frequently. lol

Fear of the Lord, is the beginning of wisdom.
roflmao Yeah, there's no such thing as a wise atheist.

I don't think i was gloating, Karrie, i wouldn't stand as witness for the only truth and salvation in Christ which has never produced anything but persecution and misunderstanding in this world.. if i was doing that. :)
You may be right, coldstream but from my chair, you appear to sneer down your nose at a lot of humanity.

We are Creators ...

If there is n0 God we will create 1 ..Then We will ALL know for sure...

I have faith in the future...I believe...
All you need is your 50 year old etch-a-sketch and with a little patience, you can create anything. lol

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of servitude to a delusion.
.... or else just plain fear of the unknown. There's no rational reason for it either way.

I could quote Reverend Lovejoy but I can't remember what he said!
I walked past the outhouse the other day and I heard him say, "aaaaahhh". I gathered he was being enlightened.

Living in fear is as good as dead. Living in fear of your creator is just plain insane. If there is a creator, why would it want us to fear it unless it is a complete psychopath? If it is a psychopath, why worship it? Fearing God is about as logical as worshiping Charles Manson.

I'm glad we live in a great country where everyone is allowed to express their views on religion. It may not be the same as mine but at least you can express it without fear of retribution.
hehe Yup. And everyone's opinion is just as valid as another's.

There are thousands of creation myths. The creator takes on many forms and imagery. It is a personal choice which to believe or not. When someone says their belief is the only valid one, they can expect ridicule for those who believe otherwise, whether or not they believe in a creator or not. Besides, the creator must have a sense of humour - it created humans, after all (at least to those who believe a creator created them.)

I believe in a creator but not the one being peddled in the OP. That one is a psychopathic, jealous, angry, mean and nasty, insecure demon to me. That guy, to me can be summed up in the saying, "The greatest accomplishment of Satan was to convince people he was god."
