You've got to ask yourself Lone Wolf, which shoes you would rather be in. In yours facing my future. Or in mine facing your future. It seems to me i would be in a realm of non sentience or meaning, nothing lost, nothing gained, and nothing remembered... but where will you be if i turn out to be right??

Ah, there's no better basis for faith coldstream than hedging your bets and gloating over what will happen to others... such a good representation of 'Christian.'

So, we should become Christians as an insurance, just to be on the safe side? Then what happens if there is a God, but he is not the Christian God? What if Allah is the true God, or Vishnu, or Ahur Mazda, or Zeus?

In that case, you won’t be in any better position than me. If there are say 1,000 gods in the world (there may even be more, I don’t know), then if I take your Christianity insurance policy, I will still be in deep doodoo if any of the 999 of them is the true God, I will be OK only if 1 out off the 1,000 is the true God.

Not much of an insurance policy, is it? Have you perhaps got a premium, deluxe policy? If so, I would like to take a look at it.

Hey dummy...Allah IS the same God as the "Christian" and "Jewish" God.:roll: Wasn't it you that said athiests are so much better informed about the different religions than believers? Guess you kinda prove yourself wrong, don't ya.

Fear of the Lord, is the beginning of wisdom.

I don't think i was gloating, Karrie, i wouldn't stand as witness for the only truth and salvation in Christ which has never produced anything but persecution and misunderstanding in this world.. if i was doing that. :)
