If ever! Certainly won't as long as they are saddled with Trump!
Indeed. After a ll, According to The donald.....there is no pandemic. And if there is......they are doing so great managing it. and it will be over .....just around the corner.

If a regular person said stuff like that........... one should seriously call an ambulance for that person and have them committed to a psych ward. His words are so out of touch with reality it is scary. When one hears some of those trump supporters........one would think that his lunacy is contagious.

That's the scary part...…….having a nut in the midst is one thing, but the number of gullible people who inhale this shit is something else!

Well Trump is the President of the USA, and the puck stops with him. I'm not sure it would have mattered, as he has no real power. Besides, there are still a very vocal minority of people, even on this forum who still believe the virus is no worse than the common cold.

Even more correct might be "would LIKE to believe". :)

And even if Woodward HAD said something......... one can predict the reaction to it. Same as to other revelations : denial, misinformation, outright lies and degrade the source. The Trumpkins would just scoff.

here was no percentage (benefit ) in divulging that at the time. And we are seeing in real time Trumps reaction to it........as predicted.

Furthermore...... Woordward is not POTUS ......the person who is being exposed in his own words .

I think the timing is rather good........ for Woodward's book. He is not just a competent reporter , interviewer, he is shrewd with an uncanny sense of timing and politics,

There are people that believe there is a god. Actually quite a number of different gawds, but only theirs is the true gawd. Did you know there is still a flat earth society? turdOWE believes the budget will balance itself.

It is notable that you bring up Trudeau rather often to counter Trump ;-)
There is a reason for that. TurdOWE is destroying our country and we have the ability to do something about it. Trump OTH is doing a reasonably decent job of looking after his country and we don't get to vote for or against him yet some of you bellyache steady about him.

Is misleading and lying to the population as if everyone is totally stupid , about the virus "looking after the country?" The population that went through starting wars, 9-11 m mass shootings does not need to be protected from "panic". Trump sets himself up as the "godfather " , eliminating anyone that opposes him. While putting on a grand show for people as if the job of POTUS is some TV game show. Where winner takes all. In his binary thinking.......He is the perpetual winner. He cares about himself, money and power. NOT the people of the USA. He talks about magical solutions to huge problems........ that indicate his tenuous contact with reality.

as things stand: I would take Trudeau (imperfect as he has been - ) over Trump ( the narcissistic sociopath) anytime. No contest.

If Trump is doing a "reasonably decent job" of looking after the country, what would it look like if he was doing a poor job? The Covid 19 record there is the worst in the world, people are getting murdered virtually every day and now the country is on fire and formerly civilized places like Portland are experiencing mayhem. To give the Devil his due Trudeau is actually doing a better job, not that I'm impressed with him at all.

Look at all the people that voted for turdOWE. And you are worried about Trump?

Well for all his ineptness and lack of logical thinking I think Trudeau does have the good of the country at heart at times, whereas Trump only has his own good at heart. Every time he is caught lying he tries to change the subject and also switch the blame. Trump is as transparent as glass.

That does sound a lot like Trudeau and his ethics questions and conflicts of interest.

It is a reality now the difference is do you allow the ones trying to use it to change the direction of a nation, or do you carry on with this new reality like every other virus we are exposed to and hope it doesn't hurt you or your family?

To tell the truth our own Trudie dealt with it worse by avoiding it and deflecting away from it, he even gave away our own PPE stockpile while knowing the same briefings that Trump had.
