That sounds credible given the huge discrepancy in the outcomes on different patients.
It will come when it comes, no use dispensing it before it has been thoroughly tested for side effects, etc. In the meantime people can do damn near as much by listening to the experts, practicing discipline and social distancing to the extreme. People have to decide whether they want to live or die and if they want to help keep others alive.

And it will be about as effective as the flu vaccine. SInce the virus is mutating rapidly vaccines will always be behind the curve. About the time things started closing down we knew there was already three variants, now six are confirmed which means there are probably two more undiscovered yet. Which one do you suggest making vaccine for?
I know your feelings on WAPO and the other news media outlets that you mentioned, my question to you is which news source is credible to you? Which one would have had to report on the story Ocean Breeze linked for it to have been credible? I'm looking for a name.
Dr. Art Hister was on the news this morning expounding on the proven success of masks for preventing the spread of Covid 19. You can depend on Art, as he's proven for many years!
I admit it is tough. Find one that turdOWE hasn't bought, like True North. Not too sure about the US ones because most of them are more interested in headlines than reporting news. Even Fox news has a better chance of being accurate than the Democratic Party owned ones. Maybe Walmart will give you some names and you can compare articles with your Facebook sources.
It could be argued that your statement is not entirely true seeing that H1N1 was not considered much worse than the seasonal flu and testing didn't play a big role in controlling the virus. COVID-19 on the other hand is far more deadly, and testing is important for contact tracing and isolation.
Further, the "what about Obama" card is becoming tiresome, and in this case, is flawed. If you believe Obama made a bad call in ceasing testing for H1N1 does that not imply that Trump discouraging testing concerning Covid-19 is just as egregious? In essence, you are pointing the same finger at Trump as you are at Obama.
