Those people ran to Canada after the revolution. They did a good job defending their new home in the war of 1812.

Some fled to what is now Canada, some fled to Loyalist Florida, some fled to Loyalist Caribbean and some went back home to Britain.

Many Loyalists fled to Loyalist-sympathising areas.

The majority of them - about 33,000 - went to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, about 6,600 went to Quebec, and 2,000 to Prince Edward Island. About 5,000 white Loyalists went to Florida, bringing along their slaves who numbered about 6,500. About 13,000 went to Great Britain (along with 5,000 free blacks).

The official story...………………...Jamestown, founded in 1607, was the first successful permanent English settlement in what would become the United States. The settlement thrived for nearly 100 years as the capital of the Virginia colony; it was abandoned after the capital moved to Williamsburg in 1699...…………...according to Google :)

The Thirteen Colonies were founded in 1607. Jamestown, Virginia.

Yes, but, the slimey limey asked originally when Great Britain was established and that Great Britain was responsible for the u.s.
