Liberal government’s 'almost humiliating' posture toward China a missed opportunity: former top diplomat
'Right now the facts argue for the case that China was delinquent (on COVID-19), that it wasn’t transparent enough. That’s not a conspiracy theory'

Trudeau's paid for media.

First one so far...
Live Feed Funeral
Due to the Covid-19, we are not having a funeral that can be attended for Jennifer. In place, we will have a live feed that will start on Friday at 11AM. In order to view the feed, you have to accept the invitation and click 'Going'. We are trying to make sure everyone who knew her can at least view the funeral safely.
Friday April 17 at 11AM
Well, that wasn't any less emotional than being there. It hurts all the same.

Sad . I would think religious and other gatherings should consider the outdoors. The virus supposedly spreads more easily in enclosed spaces . In a larger venue it should be possible to maintain social distance .

Texas becomes first U.S. state to announce dates for relaxing some pandemic-related restrictions, starting next week

source: WAPO

We can watch and see how it works outforthem.

BC professionals are saying that mid May might be the time for BC to start gradual lifting of restrictions.

Actually...BC is showing good results now........but has to maintain current path for now.

Dr. Henry and team are doing a fanatic job........... including providing excellent information to the public.

British Columbians for the most part are dong their part to assist in getting this under control. So much depends on people behavior.

That's what trump has been looking for from the beginning.

You have to feel sorry for the poor guy. He's never had to deal with something that he couldn't buy his way out of.
well stated !! ;-)

All religious gatherings are currently banned in Britain except, of course, Islamic ones.

Was Jacinda thinking about Justin?
................
Americans who have taken to Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern after watching her light-hearted interaction with Herald political reporter Jason Walls have said they want to move to New Zealand.
Some have even called for her to replace US President Donald Trump.
During a press conference this week, Ardern called on Walls to ask a question, only for Walls, who was multi-tasking by covering Ardern's responses live for the Herald, to briefly forget his initial question.
orry, it doesn't matter," said Walls.
"We'll come back to you, no problem," laughed Ardern.
"I do worry about your sleep at the moment though Jason."
Ardern's good-natured response caught the eye of a Washington correspondent to United Arab Emirates media outlet The National, Joyce Karam, who shared the moment on Twitter.
The video, which has received nearly 50,000 views, also left several overseas viewers confused over Ardern's Kiwi accent, as they were certain they had heard the name "Justin".

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Last night stand-in PM Dominic Raab said that after this crisis is over, it cannot be business as usual with China - but what does that mean?

With so many indications that the communist party in Beijing is responsible for this worldwide health crisis, how could the rest of the world ever hold them to account?

Despite the best efforts of the Beijing PR machine, the fingers of accusation are pointing firmly at the Chinese Communist Party as the culpable party for this global health crisis and the resultant economic havoc.

The human tragedy, both national and individual, is unfolding before our eyes and if a group of people are responsible for this, the questions are:

Should they be held to account and made to pay?

How do we hold them to account?

What do they owe and to who?

And how do we make them pay?

And most importantly - where do we start?

Ugh, Bush. What a train wreck that admin was.

It annoys me to no end how liberals have cozied up to that guy because he appears to not like Trump very much.

How soon they forget.

Of course, Britain is no longer in the EU so is now free to decide who to trade with and who not to trade with.
