Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Of course, the economic downturn is due to the needless lockdown, not coronavirus itself.
The virus is causing the lock downs...... It is a chain effect. What do YOU suggest when it comes to managing this pandemic?? Carry on as usual\?????and let the virus run free?? You seem so scared of losing your freedoms Or some major change in politics............that some perspective is called for. If you are gravely ill..........or dead.....your freedoms don't mater all that much.

Here is a way for big business to actually do something positive during this public health crisis.

The tech industry has to band together and deliver a computer to every child in the days ahead. Schooling is very much going to be reliant on computer access and lots of kids, especially those used to using library resources are going to need help getting one.

Give them one.

There. Now you've actually helped.

So far, Sweden has not locked down.

Because the Swedish government wisely doesn't want more people to die in an effectless lockdown than the virus will kill which will do nothing but gravely damage their economy.

The ONLY reason why Western countries have gone into lockdown when they never go into lockdown every winter over the flu or every other recent pandemic is because when the outbreak started China implemented a lockdown and Western governments panicked and did the same without thinking too much of the severe repercussions.

Yep. That's what we do with every other virus.

If you are gravely ill..........or dead.....your freedoms don't mater all that much.

Some people need to face the reality that this virus isn't going away. It's here to stay, like the cold or the flu or AIDS.

Bearing in mind this reality, do the lockdown fascists believe we should live in fascist states forevermore or do they concede that, sooner or later, the lockdown will have to end even though coronavirus is still here?

If you think that a pandemic like this is like an ordinary situation or ordinary virus............fine. If minimizing it makes you feel better , fine. It is a test of ;ones coping skills. and mental attitudes ..It is also a test of responsible & mature behavior.

Canada is one of the wealthiest and - before coronavirus lockdown - freest countries in the world (some despotic Third World regimes probably have more freedoms than Canada now), regularly voted as the best, or one of the next, countries to live in.

Sounds like the British did a very good job.

Yes, I do.

As for irresponsible behaviour: that's the definition of keeping people, especially those with mental health issues and the elderly, locked in their homes.

It's no wonder many experts believe the lockdowns will kill more people than the virus.

Like in Sweden.
