I went into the Mile today and the only line-ups were at the grocery stores and even then I was out the door in less than 10 minutes after I pulled into line. Save-On has it's own traffic police and they do a great job. No TP in any of the five different stores I went to. The cleaning product aisles were busy places. No other shortages that I could see. Everyone seemed to be happy to be out and about. No one was hoarding. I got everything on my list, did two loads of laundry and filled three large water bottles. The only downer was that I missed getting some library books by a day. The CRD closed the doors on all our libraries today. Went to our local bookstore and found several good second-hand reads. The sun shone all day, the roads are bare and dry and it was grand day to be Irish. :smile:

excellent idea........ and can be reassuring. Something tangible and factual is a good thing.

Heard about it on BC1 after I got home from town. Went to the website and was done in no time. It's a great tool. I don't have any of the symptoms but I am going to self-isolate because I did come in close contact with a number of people today though nobody looked sick or was coughing. No one was wearing a mask.

First death in Ontario, in a Barrie hospital so far, but pending an autopsy they don't know if he died from the corona virus or other causes since he was an old man who actually was admitted in the hospital for other reasons!

All BC K-12 schools were closed ufn yesterday

The university and colleges (unbelievably) remain open for the time being.

The large number of foreign students at our colleges are a major factor right now. I don't think anyone really knows what will happen to them. I suppose they will have to remain here until the pandemic resolves itself somehow.

If on a Visa they get the same treatment a citizen does but they have their own insurance.
