Ontario has announced the parents will not be forced to put their kids back in school but that only teases at the actual issue which is:

have public schools become obsolete? If the provincial government is spending $13K on my child to attend public schools perhaps they should just give that money directly to the parent to put towards the kids education as they see fit.

They're all taking hydroxychloriquine.
Actually had to visit some medical facilities and hospitals yesterday and masks were much more prevalent then last time . Perhaps 90 to 95% wearing masks quite the difference from a month ago .

Re school reopenings: there is no way to maintain physical distancing in any school that I have ever seen.
While it may work in the classroom how do students go from one class to another in the hallways?
As teachers unions continue to push for clarity I believe parents needs to step in here and lay down the law - the ones who pay for the schools need to be the ones who have the final say.
That means parents, not politicians or bureaucrats.
Dr. Henry’s recommendations not good enough for you ?

Not rocket science, you just stagger the times for classes to shift rooms, OR the teachers do the shifting where possible. Can you get your brain around that? :)

and if that is a one night binge at the roulette table, well that is education on how to blow $13K. People cannot handle cash.

But perhaps it is time to rethink the para-dime of kids in classrooms. It doesn't work for a lot of kids.

In elementary school that would work. All the kids take all the same classes. High school and middle school, not everybody takes the same stuff. I think moving around would be a nightmare. Adults can't even handle one way ailes at WalMart. How are kids going to handle distancing in hallways? Staggared times doesn't work because someone will come to a full class and have to wait while other classrooms site empty for extended periods.

The great thing about all this is that the final word will be that everyone will be prescribed hydroxychloriquine as a prophylactic against the Wuflu.

Trudeau announces launch of covid tracking app. The idea is to inform app users when they have been around someone who has tested positive.

It's a great idea and industry should be using this tech.everyone who works at a certain place should be in a local network tracking them all.

Canadian and Mexican governments hope U.S. doesn’t notice tunnel being built underneath it

NORTH AMERICA – Despite being undiscovered since April, Canadian and Mexican officials are remaining firm in keeping the massive tunnel allowing travel between the two countries by going beneath the United States a classified project.

“The Sub-American highway is based on one of the major cornerstones of Canadian-Mexican relations; sidestepping around whatever problems the U.S is causing” Said Minister of Foreign affairs Francois-Phillipe Champagne. “Think of it as our version of the Channel Tunnel, only instead of going under water, it goes under a nation full of COVID and Nazis.”

A recent poll has also shown that most Canadians traveling to Mexico find the idea of traversing a massive underground tunnel to still be more appealing than flying with Air Canada.

“We’ve been making great progress and have almost gone completely undetected.” Said construction team leader Shawn Newman. “There was one point where we thought Colorado might have heard us, but we held still for a minute and they moved on. At this rate, we’ll be able to complete the extension to Argentina by 2030.”

At press time, an awkward situation unfolded when the construction crew encountered a team of Americans trying to tunnel from California to New York.
Make a wrong left and end up in Brooklyn , scary .

It might take a little tweaking alright. :)

There is absolutely no way I am downloading this on to my phone. The government will not be tracking me (on my data and battery).

Many people are skeptical of the app, but the reality is that all your data exists and is routinely sold to advertisers anyway.

This is merely meant to use your data to help you

I , on the other hand will do so. If the app is designed as described .......it would be very helpful in dealing with the virus. The gov't already knows a lot about me anyhow.......and I have nothing to hide. I realize that for some it i s the principle of the thing.

The privacy fears are not unfounded which is why I am not trying to flame anyone for not wanting it.

Hopefully in time it will prove itself to the skeptics.

I know if one of my family is in contact with someone who tests positive I would like to know about it asap.

If only I could trust the government on this one. If only they hadn't been from one ethics scandal to another to another.

And yes, my data is likely all over the place. But I don't go selling it on the street corner as well.
