The long term care facilities are privately owned..... or at least were.
Doug Ford isn’t fooling around and taking these dumps over.
Both Wynne and Ford took responsibility for this mess.
Imagine that, not passing the buck.
Good on them both.
Private providers get their RN and LPN funding from ON Ministry of Health.

Imagine that.

SASKATOON -- On Wednesday, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) declared a "community transmitted outbreak" in Saskatoon.

COVID-19 updates for Saskatoon and area for Wednesday, May 27

The outbreak was declared after one confirmed case and one presumptive case were linked to a pair of large family gatherings in early May that exceeded the current 10-person limit on gatherings, the SHA said in a news release.

A contact investigation involving more than 60 people is underway and all close contacts are isolating at home, according to the health authority.

The outbreak was declared by Medical Health Officer Dr. Johnmark Opondo because the possible contact involves multiple households, the SHA said.

What is arrogance? A haughty or arrogant person can be defined as one who acts as if they are superior, more valuable or important than others and underestimates them. At the same time, however, the arrogant person longs to be admired and respected for their special qualities and great accomplishments. Arrogance implies a desire to dominate and excessive confidence in one’s abilities, as well as seeing oneself as worthy of success.

That’s sounds like you.

Or......

Confidence means feeling sure of yourself and your abilities — not in an arrogant way, but in a realistic, secure way. Confidence isn't about feeling superior to others. It's a quiet inner knowledge that you're capable. Confident people: ... feel ready for everyday challenges like tests, performances, and competitions.

News of the day is that Ontario and Quebec and other places have remarkably poor senior extended care.

Wow!

Who would have ever guessed!

Well no biggie. The federal government is obviously gong to have to step in and pay the freight.

The federal government has been cutting back on their healtcare transfers since the 1990s because Paul Martin is a saint don't ya know? Don't expect anything to happen at the federal level (uinless there is a good photo-op for TrueDope). The Provincial Government appears to be finally stepping to the plate on it. It seems to have been completely neglected by the last 3 or 4 governments (Liberal and Conservative alike).

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

If that was the mess left behind, yes, terrible.
I don't care what you're doing, you clean up after yourself, "lockdown" or not.
And that you think the Earth is just a thing and not living is just sad.
Wait, I thought you were a religious person?

Don't tell me what to do.

As for Earth, I think it's not living. It's a planet, not a living creature or plant.

As for my religion, I believe only in God and Jesus, not a planet that's alive.
