Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

We are all going to die , head for the hills . Please drive carefully and do not create undo hazards . If just one life is safer you will be glad . And think , we can get back to communing with nature and enjoy a carbon free existence . Think of the children .

Well we are all going to die, eventually, so you're right about that. Where are these hills you keep mentioning? If that just one life was yours you would care right? Driving carefully is always a good thing, so right again. Communing with nature, a good thing. You enjoy fishing right? Carbon free existence? Probably not in my lifetime. Aw, the children...

The Bush Doctrine
Pre-emptive strikes
Bush addressed the cadets at the U.S. Military Academy (West Point) on June 1, 2002, and made clear the role pre-emptive war would play in the future of American foreign policy and national defense:
We cannot defend America and our friends by hoping for the best. We cannot put our faith in the word of tyrants, who solemnly sign non-proliferation treaties, and then systemically break them. If we wait for threats to fully materialize, we will have waited too long—Our security will require transforming the military you will lead—a military that must be ready to strike at a moment's notice in any dark corner of the world. And our security will require all Americans to be forward-looking and resolute, to be ready for preemptive action when necessary to defend our liberty and to defend our lives.
The stance of the Bush administration was that the harsh measures to spread the democracy worldwide are inevitable and efficacious, in which for instance, liberating Iraq will plant democracy in the area and enable it to flourish in the rest of the Middle East.[36]
Two distinct schools of thought arose in the Bush Administration regarding how to handle countries such as Iraq, Iran, and North Korea (the so-called "Axis of Evil"[37] states). Secretary of State Colin Powell and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, as well as U.S. Department of State specialists, argued for what was essentially the continuation of existing U.S. foreign policy. These policies, developed after the Cold War, sought to establish a multilateral consensus for action (which would likely take the form of increasingly harsh sanctions against the problem states, summarized as the policy of containment). The opposing view, argued by Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and a number of influential Department of Defense policy makers like Paul Wolfowitz and Richard Perle, held that direct and unilateral action was both possible and justified and that America should embrace the opportunities for democracy and security offered by its position as sole remaining superpower.
Because Trump and Fox News are playing the threatening game of blaming China for deliberately ":
DOES CHINA HAVE A RIGHT,
To destroy, say Tel aviv, Vegas, and Guam to test the waters?
I realise that its not like attacking Iran.\MAGA

There is a reason we have never shut down for car wrecks, swimming pool deaths, or the flu, but have shut down for this.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

I am sure they do. Money and the economy is more important to them than the HEALTH of the population We know that by the kind of "health care" system the;y have to begin with. If the population is unhealthy and dying. and can't work (or are a health hazard to others).....who is going to support the economy?? The poor and the sick do't count. The wealthy are equivalent to royalty in the USA.
They are not anywhere near having the virus situation under control............but they are taking their cue from their incompetent leader.........who is trying to use the virus as a campaign thing.....

Canadian Provinces are reopening their economies with Premier announcements coming out next week

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

and if everyone did that??? What kind of a society would it be??
No government is perfect.......but a nation needs a a leader at the helm. Just like any organization.

Like ours? Tam is an advisor and low end Scientist with the WHO, no wonder we had such mixed messages and slow response to the pandemic.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Dr. Theresa Tam works for the World Health Organization. She has to resign or be fired.
