Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

10% of the US economy is tied to the Ag industry. It has to happen, there is no putting it off. For Canada its $50B a year let alone being our survival.

No worries, Trump will just hand farmers money like he has due to the tariffs.

Having said that I agree that this would be a critical first step in opening things back up.

Money doesn't replace food.
Flat out no obligation money or loans like Trudeau is offering Canadian producers?

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Hey pgs, there you are. You disappeared on us last night, just around game time. I see you didn't want to play, but that's okay, I'll get to that post eventually.

Okay let's see, do I have a problem with religion? Wow, great question, one that could lead to great conversation. But in short I guess I could easily answer that question by saying yes and no. There are many reasons to support religion in that it gives people a sense of connectivity and community. Religious organizations do great work the world over in helping people through some of the most difficult times in their lives. And religion can bring people together in the hardest times imaginable.

Now, as far as the problem or problems I have with religion, well I have a few. See pgs, it's not as simple minded as to one having a singular problem with religion, but I appreciate what you were attempting to achieve with your question. As I said, I have more than one problem. I'll give you a few examples. I have a problem with those in religious authority abusing and taking advantage of people, most specifically children. Also that religion can so divide people that either side will pervert it and kill in the name of it which has occurred throughout history and continues today. I have a problem with the monetization of religion to the point that the world ends up with the likes of Jim and Tammy-Faye Baker. And finally I have a problem with the religious nut-jobs out there who lead their respective and highly gullible flocks astray to say the very least. Remember a fella by the name of Jim Jones? Or how about that Vernon Wayne Howell, boy that guy was a piece of work wasn't he? All in the name of religion.

So while I can see a good side to religion I also easily and readily see the bad.

How about you? What is your viewpoint on religion?
My view , is people are free to follow the faith they choose .

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

The citizens of the US disagree with you, they want the economy to open.

Protests draw thousands over state stay-at-home orders during coronavirus pandemic

Although USA Today penned this as a hit piece it does show that they want restrictions loosened up in many states, most of which have Dem. Governors.
I am sure they do. Money and the economy is more important to them than the HEALTH of the population We know that by the kind of "health care" system the;y have to begin with. If the population is unhealthy and dying. and can't work (or are a health hazard to others).....who is going to support the economy?? The poor and the sick do't count. The wealthy are equivalent to royalty in the USA.

They are not anywhere near having the virus situation under control............but they are taking their cue from their incompetent leader.........who is trying to use the virus as a campaign thing.....

First one so far...

Live Feed Funeral

Due to the Covid-19, we are not having a funeral that can be attended for Jennifer. In place, we will have a live feed that will start on Friday at 11AM. In order to view the feed, you have to accept the invitation and click 'Going'. We are trying to make sure everyone who knew her can at least view the funeral safely.

Friday April 17 at 11AM

Commercial carriers but not Joe producer with his 10 Ton.

Yes Joe producer with his 10 ten. If you're transporting food you can pass..

People are getting the wrong idea about the shut down..

I went to Mexico 2 days ago.. Yes the border is shut down to tourists, people shopping.

So I made an appointment with a México dentist, as they are closed in the USA.

A doctors or dentist visit is essential ;)

So went to Mexico got two cavities filled and dropped a load before I came back to the USA..

I'm a trucker going from USA to Canada travelling back to my truck (work) so that is essential.

You need to learn how to play the system..

The borders are shut down for the stupid.

Incidentally while I was in Mexico ran into a friend who cuts hair, didn't open his shop, but got a hair cut..

Now I pick up Mealon today and off to Canada :)

Well of course they are, that goes without saying. Why did you ask me if I had a problem with religion? Was it to provoke or to have discussion?

Honestly, people need to open the economy without the government..

You must know hair stylist, go to their home, and pay cash.

Fukk the government, do it underground
and if everyone did that??? What kind of a society would it be??

No government is perfect.......but a nation needs a a leader at the helm. Just like any organization.

It might be a more closely nit community working together..

First you have to have a leader of a country, Trudeau isn't a leader, he's a useless sack of bone and flesh
