Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

If electric cars were a serious thought by big auto the tech would be much better today.

I hope they send you a check because it costs more to fill up a gasoline engine and Tesla at one point had free charging stations (not sure if that is still the case) not to mention electric cars have fewer moving parts (about 20) to fail.

If you ever get a chance, drive one and put it on ludicrous mode.
I am sure Tesla’s and other electric vehicle are fine for commuting, however most people also use their vehicle for other purposes . I know many people that have ev’s for their daily commute , but all have gas or diesel as backup and weekend driving .

Back on the subject, statistics show that for the US and Canada, we may be flattening the curve. The cases #'s for today are lower than what they were yesterday for both countries, despite an uptick on the number of people tested. I can honestly see the overall number of cases begin to drop by the second week of April.
Hopefully North America and Europe can contain the virus, just like China, Japan, and Korea have done.

The model S range is 700-800 km.

Where are they going on weekends?

Calls grow for an investigation into China's initial efforts to cover up coronavirus spread
By Lauren Meier - The Washington Times - Friday, March 27, 2020
Calls on Capitol Hill are mounting for the State Department to investigate China’s alleged efforts to cover up the initial spread of the coronavirus outbreak that has swept the world, killing thousands in its wake.
In a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday, Rep. Michael McCaul, the top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, is urging the department to consider launching a multilateral investigation with other democratic countries to look into any moves to cover up the coronavirus spread, which began in the Wuhan province in China last November.

China Created a Fail-Safe System to Track Contagions. It Failed.

Steam was first then EV's were introduced into the market place what happened? What is still their major shortcomings? Model T's were designed to run on pure ethanol made from grain, that would have boosted the farming world bigtime but even they had to give way to cheaper Oil.

They still would have been inferior.

Today's EVs rely on digital tech. Whether Ford or GM or Chrysler were making EVs over the past 117 years or not, they would have never altered the pace that digital has evolved.

By the way with current EVs an equivalent of 8 years of gasoline goes into an EV battery with a lifespan of 5 years. That means an ICE is still 20% greener than a Tesla.

Check the WHO response while at it . Maybe cancel funding . Ethiopian foreign minister, head of the WHO , what a joke .
China sponsored the current WHO mouthpiece to get his seat and rebuild Ethiopian rail. He owes them.
