So letters and warning notices weren't enough for these people. Too bad. Just pay up and carry on.

With parking on both sides of their street there isn't much room to even change your mind.

They may very well win their appeal but they were still wrong.

And that is why Police Officers and Bylaw Officers have discretion.

Give a bureaucrap a little authority and he will abuse it. Happens here too. Interestingly enough one cannot get a temporary handicap parking pass. It is for permanent disability only. So if you should have a broken leg and need a wheelchair to go shopping you do not get to park in the handicapped space.

Actually, you can get a temporary handicap parking pass - I just got one. It's good for one year. I am waiting for a hip replacement and cannot walk any great distance and was told that they do not know when I can see a specialist, much less get the procedure done (that's another story). Hopefully, a year will be enough.

First of all, Shadowsiv I was not referring to you in comments make about personal
attacks, all you said was you disagreed. I was referring to an earlier comment about
being a grumpy old whatever, I think it was politicalnick.

That's okay, damngrumpy. I noticed it after I had posted, and I said as much at the bottom of it. Since it was a "new" post, you may not have seen it if you subscribe to threads and you saw it in your email Inbox. Either way, it's all good with us.:)
