I believe that there are now animated versions or perhaps real tape videos that have been intertwined to see e.g., if a Rocket vs a Gretzky will finally set the record straight.

But if I was a betting man.....no matter what sport it was....I would put down everything I had on the Rocket to produce...because he had passion and was a leader and knew that he had a job to do and that he had the skills to do that job.......Gretzky was a cherry-picker (like Steve Shutt)....not a fighter and NEVER had allegiance to any team.

So take your smoke and mirrors and do what you will with them.

Not even close. The athletes of today also benefit from improvements in sports medicine and kinesiology. Hell the 4th line of the Thrashers would probably keep up with the top line of the 66 leafs. And, Shack would get his bell rung!
