"Oh, I don't think Joan of Arc is that bad looking."

Not if you consider charred and burned remains of a human body that was burned on the stake several hundred years ago "that bad looking".

Get a brain!

SirJosephPorter, if someone asked you if can someone see Saturn from the Moon would you say YES? If if you did, how would you know? You've never been there. At least I don't think so. I fully expect you to repudiate this.

Whatever she claimed with that bimbo, Couric, she ALWAYS had more expertise and knowledge in matters domestic and/or foreign than the first politically correcly elected, affirmative action president, Barrack Hussain "nicotine addict" Obama.

I would be ready to acknowledge the legitimacy of this Nobel Peace Prize as soon as you acknowledge the legitimacy of the 2000 presidential election.

Why would I care about 2000 election, YJ? 2000 elections mean nothing to me, that was an internal matter for USA. 2000 election did bring forth something ugly, something hideous (namely, Bush and the neo cons) and that became the world’s business. But the way he was elected is no business of mine.

.

That is only your opinion, people clearly didn’t think so. Her approval was down in the toilet, her negatives were high. It is generally considered that while Joan of Arc helped McCain with the Republican base (and the base probably would have voted for him no matter who he picked), she hurt McCain as far as the general population was concerned.

It doesn’t matter that you or the Republican base regards her with adulation, with worshipful admiration, has Messiah like faith in her (hence her nickname, Joan of Arc). She remains highly unpopular with the population at large, with high negatives, particularly among women.

Come on now, SirJosephPorter, DO NOT pretend that you did not say time and time again that George W. Bush was SELECTED, not elected in 2000. Or something similar.

I do not consider the rest of your diatribe worth quoting.

But I find it very intersting that you made not even the slightest effort to refute that Sarah Palin was/is/will be far more credible than your idol, the criticism-proof-because-he-is-black Barrack Hussain "nicotine addict" Obama.

Why should I concern myself about that, YJ? I am not going to vote for her, Americans are going to vote for her, it is their concern. And American people don’t think much of her, she has high negatives, especially among the women.

And that is what matters, what I think is irrelevant.

Sure I said that, but it is still an internal matter for USA, not really anybody else’s concern. It doesn’t prevent us from having an opinion on the subject, but it really doesn’t concern non Americans.

For someone who claims not to care, you spend an inordinate amount of time attempting to besmirch Sarah Palin.

Go ahead, every little bit helps.

Once again, you claim you don't care. But time after time you made every effort to besmirch George W. Bush as much as you always did Sarah Palin. Or even more.

You are truly a man(?) of hypocritical convenience to your own interests.

''Couldn't have happened to a more deserving person, Gopher. I think they also should go after her license. ''

She is a failed lawyer and dentist. That's why she started her hate campaign as it gave her much publicty which she hoped would generate more clients.

No doubt it has helped her business. She may have done the birthing work pro bono, but I expect it probably generated millions of dollars worth of business for her. The 20,000 $ she was fined is probably chump change to her.

A letter in the Globe and Mail today suggested that the Peace Prize SHOULD have been awarded to a much more deserving person.........i.e. Tina Fey, for saving the world from Sarah Palin.

"Anybody who read Mein Kampf would have known that the so called hope was an artifice much like Republican promises. After all, some of his pals were of that party."

And, of course, you read Mein Kampf in original German! Right?
Well, I read an English translation that was published in the 1940s. How about you?

lol

I saw some political cartoon somewhere where McCain won the election and immediately had a heart attack. Leaving Palin to push the button and nuke those evil Russians.

Were I an American, I would have voted the McCain-Palin ticket. I am a great admirer of John McCain, and the VP is powerless as long as the Pres. lives. :)

And some people rise to the occassion....look at Truman.

That said, I have nothing against Obama.....yet.

And I thought the letter was hilarious!
