As for her personality, she has a spendid personality. It's better than the "loud mouth" personality of the average left wing politician (i.e Hillary Clinton).

....hell yea....I could not stand a loudmouth like Hillary.....she seems annoying and talks down to people.... Rice has a much more pleasant demeanor....

well........it will be interesting to see how she handles herself.....and if she is on some crusade to convince CA to do something that the US wants real bad. Don't think she is coming here for tea and crumpets.

...I dont mind it....I mean Bush doesn't have time enough to come up here and talk to the PM, I mean Martin will be free...he has no foreign policy to keep him busy .....Rice will do fine and hopefully Martin can influence her that the US needs to respect free trade.....

Good points Hank. In addition, since she is head of the United States State Department, her key responsibilities is with foreign affairs. Therefore it is part of her job to travel and meet with foreign heads of state. That's why she is meeting with Martin.

She is basically responsible for overall direction, coordination, and supervision of interdepartmental activities of the U.S. Government overseas.

My point was that her 'intelligence' is relative. Who gives a rat's ass how many languages she knows, what a magazine believes her power ranking to be or who she associates with. She knows as much about diplomacy as W does. The only difference is she would be able to threaten more nations in their native language and point 'em out on a map.

As for the Harper comparison, both he and she advocate what their supporters/puppetmasters tell them to regardless of how obscene, irrelevant, destructive the policy or opinion may be and both come off as completely oblivious to the big picture. Many politicians could fit this bill but these two are encyclopedia-picture poster people.

good point. she is complicit in premeditated mass murder of innocents in a foreign nation that did not pose any damned threat to her or her lying cronies.--or their country.

Anyone that spends the money she does on SHOES has a strong streak of GREED/MATERIALISM built in. and no one can say with an straight face that she is not a power/money hungry person that fits the current club she belongs to.

Anyhow..... this so called visit is bound to be nothing more than a photo op ....and an exchange of a few pleasant lies.....and hope she goes back as soon as is feasible.
