The Lib candidate buried himself, she was just there to record it, she didn't put the words in his mouth

try reading the actual article! ... then come back and edit your post for accuracy.

ok, so I see she was named way down in the article.. constantindis.. what is that, greek? cradle of democracy, eh? why not the cradle of underhanded tactics? it fits.

Alexandra Constantinidis, as the former parliamentary assistant to Calgary Conservative MP Rob Anders... she needs a new gig since Anders has been run off! Looks like she might be ok as Steve appears to have taken interest... just a lil' close there, hey! :canada:

I rest my case. How unfortunate that these bozos are actually making Justin look like a viable alternative

Yup again. You just can't make this stuff up. Seriously people!!!! The best way to ensure Trudeau does not become Prime Minister is to get the Harper supporters to STFU. For the love of Gawd, it's getting far beyond embarrassing.

yeah, but unless you fly your colours and stick a microphone in the guy's face, it's underhanded.

of course, it's Harper that deals with the media in a most protected way... "no more than 3 questions allowed please"! And, ahhh... just who determines what reporters get to ask Harper questions? Harper's PMO handlers are so worried that an "off-script" moment might actually catch Harper saying something... original, off the cuff! Can't have that, no way, no how!

speaking of the lil' covert Alexandra Constantinidis, if I interpret correctly, it's the Liberal party that suggests she did the same kind of thing by recording Andrew Leslie, the retired Canadian Forces Lieutenant-General, seeking a Liberal nomination for the 2015 election... somehow a recording associated with questions taken by 'this blue-sweater wearing person" in the pics below ended up with Sun News - go figure.

Life is hard and it still doesn't change the fact that he made those comments all on his own.

In terms of underhandedness, how well does that bode in terms of this Lib candidate making such remarkably stupid remarks that would have a negative effect on his supporters.

Comes down to this, card carrying Liberals would see a tangible benefit from income splitting, yet this yutz of a candidate is willing to punish his supporters based solely on the notion that it was the Cons that developed the program.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face (or at least cutting off the noses of his party faithful)

Maybe if the slime would stop seeking ways to have the power ooze into their sweaty little greedpaws and honestly work to impress the elector one might get the impression a politician isn't all about parasites

Oh my Gawd!!! It's like a train wreck. I'm not sure I can watch any more...

There's only one problem: another participant in the secretly recorded conversation has stepped forward to say it was he, not Raynolds, who actually made the offending remarks.

"I don't believe Marlo should have to take the flak for something I said," Canmore resident Tam McTavish told The Canadian Press.

McTavish, who says he voted Conservative in the last election and has never been a member of the Liberal party, last week wrote a comment on Richards' Facebook page, correcting the record.

Are you drinking with Petros and Goober this morning?

whaaa! Again, please... read the article and pay particular attention to the guy who claims he made the comments and not the Liberal candidate. Geezaz, do you guys even read before trotting out your inanity!

@waldo

ya, the "liberal" seeking a "Liberal" nomination at a well advertised 'Round Table on Veterans Issues', where people were only there to hear the liberal/Liberal.

in any case, clearly... Harper Conservatives are well entrenched in employing their agents provocateur to get at "the truth"!!!

I just love watching you truthers wriggle in pain on this.

Every day, the Libs look sillier and sillier and it's all because of the abject stupidity of their own people.

rib-tickling laughter at Harper Conservatives expense... is not painful, at all!

Good one, but don't confuse your nervous laughter (along with facial ticks) for confidence.

Trudeau and his band of miscreants bring us all the gift of laughter each time they speak.... Sh*t, the uber-genius idea of the big parka & toque give away to victims of genocide, rape and child enslavement.

You Liberals are such geniuses, how would it be possible for one of your own to say something retarded?

and Harper has never put his 'foot in his mouth' in the past? As I said, Harper's handlers now go to incredible lengths to isolate him... to protect him... from any chance of an unscripted moment. Harper, a scripted man of the people!

This is about today, not the past.

Regale in the past all you like, but for everyone else, they look at today and tomorrow.

PS - Thank God that Justine is dedicatedly unscripted, we see him for the fool that he really is.
