Try Switching it of then back on after a while

Get a Mac, never any problems, no security programs required.

To top it up, get an iPad as well.

It's like using a calculator, always trouble free, never any issues.

load windows update. download and install all updates. when windows prompts you to restart click the restart button.

You need to wipe the server clean...a nice damp cloth should do it.

You might try wiggling the speaker wire. Also keyboards wear out. Invest $20 at WalMart and get a new one. The computer is not broken because your keyboard is broken.

Usually the servers do best if they are NOT flat.

Usually try substituting either the not working items in a known good computer, or try using known good parts on yours.

Having said that, this is the best time of year for a deal on a year or two old computer.

There are no "temporary viruses". Probably, the constant stream of pap out of it rotted a transistor or two.

A magnet in the wrong area ( like storing a car speaker on the shelf beside the tower!), or dirt, a stuck switch under a key, or just a screwed up install of an update, can do all the above type stuff.

I had a notebook one time, that all of a sudden would take 4 to 5 minutes to start up...
It took me about a week to find out what the problem was.....I had transferred some photos to the computer using a new mini sd card adapter
Photo below for those who have never used them, and after transferring the photos I left the adapter in th laptop so I wouldn't have to look for it the next time I needed it.
Once I took it out the laptop started normally ...defective bit of hardware.... the computer probable figured it for another drive and spent a lot of time trying to analyze it before starting up
